"All was good, only issue was the front desk lady, she did not speak clear or speak up, it was like talking to your 15 year old kid who still mumbles. I had to keep having her repeat herself, about basic things, but I really couldn’t follow or understand her. The kick was she never spoke a bit louder or more clear, she kept repeating herself in the same monotone, low volume mumbles lol…..but everything else was good!"

"A great property and property owner making for a smooth stay. This property is better than described and well worth the price. Falling into the couch after a storm riddled drive was the highlight of my day. House was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen stocked with everything necessary to make breakfast. Bathrooms very clean and with enough towels for us plus a small army I needed assistance Friday night, Warren responded quickly with a caring attitude ready to help. After returning home, I realized that I had left a few things behind on accident, again Warren responded quickly with that same caring attitude. On a last minute trip where a few things didn't go as planned this property stepped up as the best choice we made."

A peaceful, forest retreat with stunning views near historic Harpers Ferry.

8/10 Good
"Disclaimer: not a guest that likes to reach out to the host during a stay. I do message ahead to confirm things.TL;DR: place overall neat, host nice, likely more ideal if just humans. Great view off the deck. Multiple TVs. A French press & water kettle available if you bring coffee & tea. Water cooler worked well. Not as secluded* as exterior pictures indicate. Pets restricted to main living room and kitchen area. —-Place was clean. Been curious about art frame TVs, neat to see them in action. Loved the view. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean, towels fluffy. Trip’s goal getaway for my dog and friend. Wanted a secluded spot allowing a dog over 50lbs. Plus with the pictures of this listing - booked this non-refundable last minute. After booking, learned pets restricted to main living room and kitchen area. Spacious enough so it worked out, not sure I’d pick if I had known. Did not spend any time in the lower level; if it was a different kind of trip, would have. Front door has a large window; not a lot of activity but fyi if your dog takes being a watchdog seriously.A cool music set up but didn’t utilize. A welcome binder/paper with instructions for things like that would be nice.Checkout easiest. Load dishwasher, take personal items, lock doors. Took out trash out of habit but it wasn’t a thing we had to do. *Secluded in comparison to housing communities sure. Aerial shot kind of looks like flat backyard, not accurate."
