"The check in experience was wonderful with really helpful happy, staff who were welcoming and professional. The rooms are large and the beds are great. The toilet had a lot of staining and scale build up, which could have been sorted out. The breakfast experience was not up to the usual Holiday Inn standard, the host buffer was barely warm, and while the front of house manager was excellent some of the staff were to say the lease less helpful. All in all, would I stay again. Yes I would."

"A nice and cosy 14 century accommodation. Arrived and asked if we could book a table at the pub for the evening meal , no problem at all.was the reply . The staff nice and friendly and the food was excellent. If you go in the summer months a nice area for children to play in the garden. Out in the sticks but a lovely location."

"The bed was comfortable. The tea/coffee available in the room was good. It was very noisy because it's on a main road and the windows do nothing to reduce the noise. The building is very old so this was to be expected."
