The location for us was right in the middle between South Padre Island and San Juan basilica. The view from the backyard is breath taken. The swimming pool was nice and clean. All the rooms were family friendly. The house is very spacious and it gives you a feeling that you are in your own home. I highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone. The property owners Ruth Rodriguez and her husband were fantastic. They showed genuine concern and sincere interest in our happiness during our stay in their home. Luckily we found this home listed very close to the airport and the funeral chapel. We were able to have all of her children and grandchildren along with their families who were able to come stay together in this lovely home. The home is exquisite and very well decorated. It was equipt with everything we wanted or needed to be together. Ruth (the owner) was very gracious and was able to accommodate our every request. They even had tables stored in the garage that we were able to use to set up a buffet out on the porch for the reception. The pool and lake can be seen and accessed from several exits, the balconey can be accessed from two second floor bedrooms and the ducks from the lake come up and create wonderful beautiful scenery. I would not hesitate to stay here again should the opportunity present itself. A perfect place for family gatherings. It would be a wonderful home to have an outdoor wedding in the back yard. We have stayed in temporary rentals all over the nation but none of the properties and hosts were as pleasant or as well supplied as Ruth's.
