A hidden gem of a hotel. Staff were very helpful and facilities were great. A different side of Hanoi, as opposed to around Beer Street, where we had stayed before. The only criticism is that there is only one lift to the hotel floors.

The breakfast was excellent. The peacefulness around the hotel looking at the lake was very helpful after a very noisy day outside. The hotel was excellent. That’s all there is to it.

We had a great stay at the Hanoi Club. We really enjoyed the location not far from the old town, but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the balcony and the lake view and we also enjoyed the golf driving range. Highly recommended.

There are small shops nearby. Make sure you carry enough VND. There are couple of seven eleven like stores that accept credit cards. In entire Hanoi, many places don’t accept credit cards. I found the eating options in the hotel limited. The breakfast was good. Awesome view if you select the lakeview rooms.

Overall: Very nice hotel with very serviceminded staff. The rooms were nice, but the beds and pillows were very hard. Nice breakfast and pool. Can definitely recommend this hotel.
