I’m sure most hotels in the area are exactly the same, it was clean and tidy but the bed was so rock hard we could barely sleep. Also asked for two extra pillows and were only given one that was very lumpy. The shower was also difficult to maintain the temperature and not ideal. However the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, they offer to store your luggage there while you head off on other trips to Ha Long, Sapa, etc, they made us breakfast to take on our early morning bus and it felt very safe there. Despite being within the main area of Old Town it was quiet in the room. Apparently, the bathroom was not working. However, the front desk staff was great and vey helpful to organise another hotel/room, without extra cost. Their breakfast is amazing. Especially their pho is the best in Hanoi. Try chicken pho for breakfast. But location is not so ideal as you need to walk around 5mins to get to the lake or the central of the Old Quarter. The picture of the room looked new but actually their room looked old. Spacious room given a boutique hotel but bathroom is small.
