The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room size was much smaller than it appears on the photos. There’s little in bathroom amenities even though the bathroom was a good size. The shower door was very noisy and difficult to slide. There was no space to put the jug except on the floor. Just a couple of little changes would make it a much more pleasant stay. Also had trouble with the aircon. For £36 you get a large room, with great WiFi, a very good hotel breakfast and in a stunning location in Hanoi Westlake. We had one of the rooms at the back, which made for a peaceful nights sleep in the busy city. Very kind staff. Good English spoken. Many Chinese(?) dragon arts! Amazing giant gold fish pond, and that at indoor. Great lake view! I found everything needed and more there even at moderate price. Dedicated service is what I found most touching. Good restaurants and cafes nearby. I recommend this hotel to those who are looking for exotics, comforts, and bit away from dense area. There is no lift so be ready to walk up to 3-4 floors.
