There is no front desk to check-in. You show up at some old vacant building and have to walk a 100 yards down to the main buildings. In building 2 there is a small desk but the lady didnt know why we were there and told us we had to call the # on the reservation from Expedia. We called multiple times and the call wouldnt connect. We walked around for 15 minutes trying to figure out where to go. Then some lady that was out front of one of the buildings came up to us and asked us why we were there and then said she could check us in. Our first night we had no hotwater, we had to take cold showers. Then the next day we came back from a long excursion and still no hot water. We called and messaged the lady multiple times and she finally sent someone to fix the hot water. 5 minutes after the guy left, the water line in the bathroom exploded and the whole bathroom flooded! I had to find the water valves to shut the water off. The water line was under the bathroom sink so It soaked me when it blew up with cold and steaming hot water. I called the main number multiple times and sent several texts and nobody responded for over an hour! I then called Expedia's customer service and they attempted to call the number as well and no one would pick up. About 1.5 hours later someone came to replace the broken hose then left without cleaning up the water. Room was a good size, beds are comfy, the shower is good & it’s very clean. But it’s too far from the city, we found it hard to get transport to & from the hotel. The different taxi we used would drop us at the wrong place or the driver would get lost going to the hotel. Each trip would cost between 200-400 baht one way which is still cheap when converted but adds up nonetheless. We were unable to utilise the hotel pick up options for the tours & activities as we were outside their pickup zones. I would recommend staying here if you have your own transport available. We got a balcony room with a rural view, stayed 3 nights. They do charge 500 baht security fee which we weren’t told about when I called to make sure we could check in late. We were able to check in at 12am but the security guard was trying to make us give him cash before showing us to our room. He didn’t speak English and we didn’t speak Thai so he took us to the room & we sorted it out at reception in the morning. They did physically check the room before we checked out & we got the deposit refunded. In the room itself there no plates, cutlery, pots, pans, or utensils. There is an electric jug, microwave, 2 element stove, small cups & glasses. They do have a mini bar but be aware that you do have to pay for the water as well. The bed we had was uncomfotable. During my stay, amenities like gym room, swimming pool have not been completed. Perhaps it was low season, or the location was a bit far from city, there was only a few occupants, so I really enjoyed the peace and quiet which I really needed. The Suite made us felt like we were home. Altho it would be nice if the kitchen was equipped with some kitchenware (eg. Pots & pans) The jet spa was nice, even tho I couldn’t get the jacuzzi to work, somehow it turned on automatically while I was in the tub and couldn’t turn off. The bed, The chair on the balcony and everything else were so comfy! The pool was a bit small but just enuf for 2 of us. Even tho there was no view but we didn’t mind. But the in-room breakfast is very nice too, I like how it can be served between 6:30-1600, the only down thing is the hot drinks & entree is not hot enuf. I also wish they would provide breakfast buffet.
