About this property

A special time to release your mind and body in the unexplored region of Iwate, where only the most sensitive people can reach. Unleash yourself in a private space in a renovated 70-year-old traditional Japanese house! (with sauna)

  • Located on the shores of Lake Tase in Iwate Prefecture, Kumo Lodge is the perfect place for a retreat to rejuvenate your mind and body in harmony with nature. Take a deep breath by the tranquil lakeside, and you’ll forget the hustle and bustle of daily life as you relax and reconnect with yourself. We especially recommend morning SUP yoga. Floating on the lake and stretching your body while bathed in the gentle morning sun, you’ll experience a special moment of clarity and freedom. The interior is enveloped in the warmth of wood, creating a cosy atmosphere that feels just like being at a friend’s house. Other highlights include evenings spent chatting around a campfire and moments spent rejuvenating your mind and body in the sauna. A place where you can reset yourself at a leisurely pace while harmonising with nature—that is Kumo Lodge.
