The Dream Vintage Surf Cottage was just what we (myself, husband, 11 yo son and 13 yo daughter) were looking for. It was clean, cozy and well-decorated and the location can't be beat. You can hear the ocean from the house and it's hardly a block from the beach. I'm already missing my morning walks along the ocean. The walk to town is also so quick and easy with gorgeous views! We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Our family of 4 (adults and 2 older kids) absolutely loved this Hanalei beach house. Was steps to the beach and walkable to shops and restaurants. Great outdoor shower and bikes, beach chairs, etc. Very comfortable beds. Loved the decor. Highly recommend.

Hanalei Bay Gem

Family had a wonderful stay at this property, which is a stone’s throw from a quiet and beautiful beach, as well as a short walk into downtown Hanalei for shopping and dining. It felt private even though it’s located on a residential street. The property is beautiful with flowering bushes, citrus trees and bromeliads; and the interior is comfortable and well appointed for a relaxing Kauai stay.

Great location, as described. Super responsive host. We didn’t have an iron to steam a dress and dress shirt for our engagement photos and the owner brought one over in a couple hours for us. So great! Had everything we needed.

Our family of four enjoyed five glorious nights at this beautiful beach home steps off Hanalei beach. Amazingly convenient for popping into town, walking to beach, and for the amazing outdoor activities so close by. We’ve stayed at many home rentals with our family and this is one we’ll likely return to. Clean, had snorkels, fins, boogie boards, beach umbrellas and beach chairs. Amazing and worth the price for our family for convenience over other places up the hills.

Fantastic stay

We loved this little house. Location is unbeatable; walking distance to Hanalei and steps from the beach. House was stocked with everything we needed and property manager was very responsive. We especially loved the beach supplies! Note that the bedroom without AC does get hot, but we were able to manage by keeping cooler air circulating from other rooms. Thanks for a fabulous stay and we hope to be back soon.

Hanalei is a dream

We loved this house, just steps to the beach, surrounded by all the beauty that is Hanalei. It’s on the main road, but very quiet and the yard was great to let the kids run around. It’s a small space, but has just what you need so kick back and enjoy island life. We didn’t need much, but Daniel was quick to respond to answer a few questions we had (and thanks for bringing over that vacuum!)

A lovely ohana nestled peacefully along the North Shore of Kauai. The home is a minute walk to the beach and a pleasant 10 min to shops & restaurants. Postcards for a romantic dinner, Dolphin Restaurant (take out door in back) for the best poke, Hanalei Bread Co.for coffee/breakfast, Strings music shop for spontaneous local music, ++ much,.much, more. Host is on point, quick to communicate, & thoughtful in all details. Mahalo!!

Daniel was a fantastic host. So quick to get back to us when we had a question about the bikes and TV. And the property was darling, as neat as a pin, and a minute walk to the most beautiful beach I have ever seen.The roosters start up around 8 (no getting away from them on Kauai) so if you you like to sleep in, pack some earplugs.
