"Easy to get lost because elevators are down hall and around corner from lobby. Turn wrong way getting off elevator and you are going farther away from lobby instead of toward it Breakfast was fantastic with different hot entrees like cheese or western mini omelettes with turkey or pork sausage. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very clean and maintained historic property. So convenient to Visitor Center and shuttle bus to Colonial Williamsburg grounds. Also quick drive into town for evening entertainment and restaurants. Definitely the best place to stay."

"Nice location at the end of the boardwalk. The climate control system would not allow us to increase the temperature to a comfortable level for the evening. It would not go over 68.5 degrees. Otherwise very pleased with the stay."

"Welcome to the Neptune Festival during a Nor Easter… lol, no one controls the weather but the room is beautifully situated with a view of rough seas, walking distance to everything. The staff were great at check in, the room is clean, well laid out and breakfast is yet to be decided but it is early, 5am to 9am. If people had decorum of any kind the weed smoking would be better managed but really in the world today who cares about others… RIGHT!!! Nothing staff can do and that’s okay… Our room smells fine it’s the idiots above us and the wind lowing it to us. The hotel is in a great location. Great stay, highly recommend."

"The complimentary breakfast has many options from hot items like sausage, eggs, pancakes to cold items like cereal, muffins. The rooms were clean and well maintained, however the beds could use a real blanket, not two top sheets. The property needs cleaning, there’s ALOT of trash on property. The cleaning ladies also toss trash bags down to the garden beds when cleaning. We saw for two days the trash be outside which resulted in roaches being around. I will say the location, price, beach access, friendliness of the owners, complimentary breakfast makes this a good place to stay."
