"This place was more than we expected given our travel experiences and our knowledge of finding just the right getaway weekend hop. We were completely satified with our room, the amenities, the ocean front view and the staff. We did notice that there has been some wear & tear due to this place being right on the ocean shore. Thats expected over time. But it is still well maintained & the staff & housekeeping seem so accommodating. We spent our 8th anniversary here at Shell Island and it was so delightful. We would return to this place in a heartbeat & bring our family or friends. And we loved that this place is located at the very end of Lumina Ave which makes it more private & quiet. We were thoroughly satisfied. "

"Surf Suites was a great place ! Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and lots of extras that you might need. Kitchen was stocked with needed utensils and towels. Beds were comfy. The location was great, toward end of beach, near restaurants and pier. Was a great visit and will definitely go back ! "
