A lovely cottage with the most amazing views and beautiful sunsets. Excellent hosts with great communication and super easy check in. Would definitely stay again!
Cute little cottage by the lake. Nice accommodations, great large back yard, beautiful view of the lake, and access to the water directly from the cottage. We had a fun and relaxing time. Great place for paddleboarding, and there's a provincial park nearby which the hosts have provided a pass for. Great stay.
Our second stay this year. Hope to return many more times cottage was excellent. Very quiet time of the year. Enjoyed waves, birds etc. All together Very relaxing.
Thoroughly impressed with my visit to the SelkirkOasis cottage. The cottage was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, well stocked with everything a guest would want or need for a pleasant and comfortable stay. The hosts were friendly, welcoming and helpful - all communication was excellent. Looking forward to visiting again!
Such a lovely, tranquil place to stay. My sister and I stayed for one night and we both agreed it is the cleanest place we have ever rented. Would definitely return. Thanks!
September 2025We had a quick 2 day getaway at this wonderful gem. Spectacular lake view. Cottage was clean and well equipped. We loved the wall of lake facing sliding glass doors which kept the open living space airy and bright. I had the advantage of sliding glass doors from my bedroom to the deck as well. In addition the the full length walk out deck is an additional dining deck. Nice sized grassy yard and lake access were also enjoyed.Check in was easy and hosts were prompt and friendly. We'll definitely return.
My husband and I came for a weekend getaway. The property was exactly as described and depicted with a beautiful view of the lake. We were there in the winter so I cannot speak to the summertime activities. We enjoyed the indoor gas fireplace and even the outdoor gas fire pit.
Everything was perfect. The cottage was so peaceful listening to the waves coming in and sitting by the fireplace. Rebecca was an amazing host. Thanks again!!
I did not stay there. My son, his wife, grandson and wife and two small children really loved their overnight stay there.
Now I think I paid extra for two adults that ended up not staying. Not sure if I qualify for a refund?
We had a great stay overall! The location was fantastic, right on the water, and just a short drive from the provincial park, which was a big plus. The only downside was the number of spiders around the property. It may have been due to the time of year, but there were webs covering the outdoor furniture, making it unusable. Although the interior was clean upon arrival, we did notice a considerable number of spiders inside as well. Despite this, we would still recommend the property!
I recently stayed here with my family and our dog, and we had an excellent experience. The cottage itself is beautifully designed and incredibly clean. What truly stood out was the outstanding attention to detail. The owners provided all the essentials and even added thoughtful touches like binoculars, a variety of games, and a parking pass to the nearby provincial park. Communication with the hosts was quick and friendly, ensuring we felt welcome and well-informed throughout our stay.
The only downside was that the water was filled with algae, which unfortunately prevented us from swimming. However, this was beyond the owners’ control and did not significantly dampen the experience.
Overall, I highly recommend this property for anyone looking to enjoy a cottage with fantastic views and excellent host support. Our family and dog had a wonderful time!

Great Lake house. Very quiet area and the house was clean with everything needed for our stay. Nice and calm water that made for a nice kayak trip on the lake.
This was a great spot for myself, my husband, our 10 year old and our family dog. The backyard offered amazing views and helpful amenities. The cottage itself included everything we needed for our weeklong stay. The hosts were helpful, friendly and responsive. Definitely would recommend!
The lake house is a super cozy spot that has everything you need to spend a few days of rest and relaxation. Ideal for meditating by the lake or simply enjoying the surroundings.
