Great hotel at a great price. The staff are very helpful. The location is not ideal, but if you walk a couple of blocks you will find the main train station.
The location was practical, the room was clean. My only complaint is that the room temperature is centralized and you cannot change it, and the window only opens at Kipp, so the room was warm and not possible to cool down.
staff was rude - they charge you to hold luggage before you check in - not the nicest street a bit sketchy and the employees all smoke right outside the door - but behind the hotel is much nicer area - the room was clean i will give it that
We liked the location, it was walking distance to the city center and all kinds of transportation. However the rooms were very small and customer service was poor. They would direct you by hand gestures instead of saying to go right or left and for how many blocks.
We had to ask random people for directions.
Nice hotel in easy walking distance of U1 line and with helpful staff but you have to go down to Reception to get an iron and ironing board and pay a refundable €10 deposit and the luggage store is lockers that cost you €2. No tea or coffee making facilities in room and pretty basic all in one shampoo/conditioner/body wash.
This hotel worked surprisingly well thanks to the friendly reception from check-in to check-out.
Helpful and polite.
The stress-free and relaxed atmosphere in the lobby contributed to making the stay even more pleasant.
There is also a luggage box, which is a little poorly calculated (perhaps a sign with more precise information on time and costs), but can be used advantageously if a check-out is necessary but you want to go into the nearby city again.
The rooms are good, clean and big enough. The rooms in the inner courtyard are certainly the nicer and quieter rooms.
Internet access is very good.
As in almost every other big city, parking is very difficult and expensive.
The train station and the shopping street are very close.
The only thing that is very unfortunate is the nearby drug scene, which is managed by the city's politicians. which, however, does not have a very big impact on the hotel.
