The size of the house was perfect, and the backyard was actually much bigger than it looked in the pictures. The place was clean and comfortable, and the fire pit in the back yard was perfect for an Autumn evening camp fire. It was far enough out of the village to avoid the crowd, but only a few minutes drive or a 20 minute walk to get to the heart of Halls Gap. Just over the back fence, 20+ kangaroos would regularly graze in the mornings and evenings and we even saw a few emus making their way down the road out front.
