Basic facilities but reasonable for the price. Was in a great, central location - walkable to absolutely everything. Rooms were small bit we had access to a kitchen and living room with a free billiard table. Bert accommodating and friendly staff also.

The location is exceptional, within walking distance to all Halls Gap shops, cafes, bars etc. You can also walk to Venus Baths, through the Botanical Gardens, easily. The Grand Hotel has seen better days but it looks like it’s revival is a work in progress.
Underwhelming. No onsite staff. Communal kitchen good idea but not advised there was one.
Confusing. Name on building does not match the name of the accommodation booked.

Old world charm needing care.
It was a contactless stay. Did not see any hotel staff. Towels from previous guest were left hanging behind bathroom door. Bodywash dispensor in shower was empty. Stains on carpet in bedroom im front of cupboard. Fresh towels were clean. Room was tidy and clean and had been renovated at some stage. Building was old and not fully maintained. Adequate fir one nighr
Clean bed and bathroom, good Wi-Fi, easy checkin.
Reception not before 8am.
Nasty underneath the bed (rubbish, dust). No TV. You hear every voice from the other rooms. Shower not working properly (almost not at all). Very old and old-fashioned.
Just not nice.

Tiny room, very basic, but clean, fresh and comfortable beds (albeit very squeaky!. Bathroom appeared newly renovated and water pressure was great and lovely hot! Very quiet, which was surprising given the amount of people in town, and a cute outdoor space with lots of birdlife. Hosts were friendly and helpful, overall a good place to rest after a busy day out exploring.

Good value for money, priced well and reasonable during NYE. No insulation from noise but managed fine.
It was ok for a bed to sleep. So much potential. Half renovated, quite noisy, over priced for what it was. Hope they fix it up and use it to its full potential

Property is old and needs work but Carlos was wonderful. Despite having no knowledge of our arrival, (Wotif oversight) and being mid winter, he generously gave us a room anyway and did all he could to make us feel welcome and at home.
Thank you Carlos.
Bedroom and linen were in ok conditiin , no privacy curtain on bathroom , limited toiletries, dirty carpet ,no reception staff to reach out even during the business hours , just ok to stay if you dont find any other place around
Because bushfires could not attend but motel and Wotif never got back to me even though got in touch motel wk before and have audacity to still charge cancellation fee, I won’t be going and tell friends stay clear of both these places

Thought the old QLD style building was different and quaint. Building is going under some extensive Renovations. Would be nice to see them completed in full.
Some hooks in bathroom and maybe bedroom would be good.
Would never return. Property totally run down and rubbish everywhere around the property. Owners need to clean it up and show respect to the beautiful town
