  • With beautiful views, kangaroos grazing at your doorstep and roaring open log fires the Redgum Log Cottage creates a space to step back from the hectic pace of modern life and enjoy the simple pleasures in life. Whether it's a romantic weekend away or a break with the kids the Cottage is set in 60 acres of stunning bushland and offers you that secluded getaway in the Grampians

    This hand built cottage has arisen from many recycled and restored materials such as redgum log slabs saved from the forestry, pine kitchen cupboards of New Zealand kauri pine found in the old St Arnaud Flour Mill. Even the sunburst on the Range Hood comes from an Australian built 1925 H.V.McKay, ‘Sunshine’ grain harvester. Experience for yourself how the early pioneers lived.
