"If you love a peaceful country retreat then this is for you. Wildlife all around. The owner could not be more helpful. Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. "The hotel is very well situated near all the bars and restaurants and the places of interest to visit in Brighton. However, there is a flight of stairs up to the front entrance and no ramp so we had to drag our cases up and down these stairs, which wasn’t easy as we are 2 ladies in our 70s. We had a car with us which we had to park in a public car park very conveniently placed opposite the hotel, but it was very expensive at £32 for 24 hours. Our room was clean and comfortable and we even had a view of the sea!"
