We asked for a refund, and was told NO. We asked if we could have the credit applied to our meals, and they said NO. So, it was not a nice goodwill gesture on their part. After we waited for half an hour I called and he said that he was too busy and to catch a cab. It was a hard and expensive process to find a cab to drive us over two hours to this hotel in the middle of nothing. And even worse, it wasn’t busy; it was only our family of four in a hotel with one hundred rooms. Seriously. We finally saw ONE other guest at breakfast. There are many reasons it is empty. Construction started at six am, room was dirty, no amenities, didn’t help us with the bags, didn’t have the buffet breakfast. The experience was terrible.
