White Hart Hotel

"Lovely one night stay. Car parking reserved, very close to hotel. All staff we encountered were very helpful. Bags left early before check in and were delivered to our rooms. Our room was on 3rd floor and although hard to find and very aptly named ‘cosy double’ it was very comfortable and of a very good standard with a good view of the cathedral. Elemis toiletries, coffee machine & kettle with milk and water provided in fridge. Large comfortable bed, at least king size with good quality linen and pillows. Very quiet overnight although cathedral bells did start at 7.00am so if you don’t want an early alarm call take your earplugs. Only improvement would be a magnifying mirror in bathroom"

"This 3* hotel faces the Lincoln Cathedral and is near to Lincoln Castle. Plenty of onsite parking at £7/day. Unusually extensive breakfast and lunch/dinner menus with a quality of cooking that deserves 4*. Rooms are a good size for 3* and the hotel is about to carry out some renovations (Oct 2026). If you need to be close to the shopping area of Lincoln this may not be the best choice but as a touring base it's very good."

"My stay at the Castle Hotel was excellent. The suite I stayed in was impressive with everything that I needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Absolutely nothing to fault. I will definitely stay here again the next time that I am in Lincoln."

"The room was nice and very handy fir the family wedding we were attending. We booked a twin room which worked out well as the beds were in semi separate areas. I was disappointed with breakfast as poached eggs weren't available and I don't like scrambled. There were cereals, yogurts, apples and pears which for £15 didn't seem to be the variety I was hoping for as I'm a big breakfast fan. If you're a meat eater my adult children said the full breakfast was nice."

"The room was good for the price, and staff cheerful and helpful. Breakfast was in a separate building across the car park, but I found this less than adequate. How can anyone ruin scrambled eggs on toast to that extent!"
