"We spent a week at Mai Samui in May 2022 and it was amazing. The resort was very quiet during our time there - at times we were the only guests, and there was never more than 3-4 rooms booked - the island is only just recovering from COVID and they were doing some renovations (which never disturbed us at all). The staff were amazingly attentive and helpful -- we just messaged the manager to have meals delivered to our room, or poolside, or to head to the restaurant for dinner. All of the food...
