"Be aware that there is no Mountain View out the back of this property due to a building behind. The elevator didn’t work and our tv stopped working during our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we liked the ‘free’ bike rentals to explore Canmore. Prices being what they are in the area, it’s ok but I would expect even more for the price."

"The staff were very helpful. The room was very clean. The location is walkable to downtown. Parking was easy as well. There’s a coffee bar and open space to relax and eat meals which was great. The only concern is that the train passes near the lodge every few hours. It’s not very loud and we were mostly able to sleep through it. Ear plugs were provided by the lodge as well."

"This is a very nice property. The room we had was a mini apartment with a kitchen, living room and one bedroom. We had a beautiful view of the mountains and the local black bear that strolled the path along the parking lot at dusk. We loved that! The apartment was cozy, clean and we loved being able to make and store our own food in the kitchen. The pool and hot tub were nice too. The only reason I give this property 4 stars and not 5 is because of the sleeping setup. There were 4 of us and the listing said it slept 4, a king bed in the bedroom and a pullout couch in the living room. The pullout was HORRIBLE! One person couldn't sleep on it, much less two. It was hard, you could feel all the springs and it was bowed. We ended up with 3 of us crammed in the king bed and one on the couch without the pullout. Not at all an appropriate setup for 4! I talked to the staff, but they said they couldn't really do anything about it."
