The neighbourhood of Gzira off the promenade is located just inland from the waterfront, and is known for its quiet residential streets and charming architecture. It is a popular area for tourists to stay in due to its close proximity to the promenade and other popular attractions in the region, such as the National Museum of Fine Arts and the University of Malta. The area is also well-connected by public transportation, with regular bus service to other parts of the island and the nearby cities of Sliema and Valletta.
