Ceiling fans in all bedrooms. \* BATHS: Three full baths--ensuite to master bedroom has double sink vanity/large double shower; hall bath has shower, front bath has tub/shower. \* KITCHEN: Fridge with icemaker and ice/water in door, gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, blender, combo drip/Keurig coffee maker,14-cup drip coffee maker, toaster, and tons of dishes, pots/pans and utensils. New cabinets and granite countertops. Dining table seats four, adjacent bar seats 3, and there are folding tables and chairs in the back room that can be used for extra dining seating, card games, etc. \* TV & INTERNET: 55" smart TV in living room. Master bedroom and back bedroom have smart TVs for streaming and local programming. High speed unlimited WIFI. \* UTILITY ROOM: Washer/dryer and laundry supplies. Iron/ironing board. \* YARD: Large back yard is totally fenced with a 6 ft. wood privacy fence so very pet friendly. Cement patio in back with picnic table, umbrella table/chairs for socializing. Front has large deck with umbrella table/chairs and two large benches. \* PARKING: Driveway can accommodate three vehicles. Lots of free, no restriction street parking also available. \* GAMES AND BEACH GEAR: Beach chairs, beach towels, board games and kid games inside. \* DAY TRIPS: Exciting day trips to the New Orleans French Quarter, Bourbon Street, and plantation museums are less than a two-hour drive from the Mermaid Beach House. Or, head east to Mobile and the battleship and submarine for a fun day trip. \* PETS: Pets are welcome but must be pre-approved by Owner. No puppies or aggressive breeds. $20 fee per pet per night. Two small dogs (under 30 pounds) or one large dog (up to 80 pounds). Sorry, but no cats due to allergies. Exceptions on a case-by-case basis as authorized by Host. If guests bring any unauthorized pet(s), the deposit will be forfeit. The cleaning company doesn't charge extra upfront for pet(s) but any evidence left behind (hair, messes, etc.) will result in extra cleaning fees depending on how much the cleaning company needs to do. SMOKING: Outside only. Deposit will be forfeit if smoke smell detected inside house. HOST SUPPLIES: All linens, towels, blankets, etc.. Shampoo/conditioner, bath soap, hair dryers, hand soap, kitchen soap, cleaning supplies, laundry supplies. RENT TERMS: Nightly fee is based on eight people (two per bedroom). For every additional person the cost is $20 per person per night. Maximum occupancy is 12 people. No charge for infants; all children count as guests. Six of us felt like we had enough room. The kitchen's a little tight, depending on the cook and the size of the meal. It did seem like more than two blocks to the beach. As Debra says, the house is near the RR tracks. It didn't bother us, but know that the train trundles by a few times/day. Debra is a fantastic host. Very welcoming and responsive. We fished the Chandeleur Is on October 28 & 29\. The location of the house was extremely convenient to any thing we needed. Never had to drive more than 3 miles for anything other than to the airport to depart. The neighborhood is really quiet and the neighbors were very friendly. The house had everything we needed from plenty of beds to a great A/C system. The description of amenities was very accurate. The Hostess, Debra could not have been anymore helpful from an early check-in to a later checkout. Debra was extremely responsive to any question we had. It was enjoyable to talk to her. I really hope we can get the house for our next trip to Gulfport, a really cool little city on the Gulf. ##### Allen B. The host kept in contact throughout our stay and was very helpful. She had games, books and even all the beach stuff needed to enjoy our stay. The home was clean and very nice. The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans, dishes and silverware. The neighborhood was as very quiet and pleasant. I will definitely keep this property in mind for future stays. It also had more than enough room for my large family of 8\. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking to be close to the beach, fun activities and/ or just looking to relax!!! ##### Anita H. The house was exceptionally clean. I need to know their secret - that close to the beach and not a grain of sand on the floor. Also close to great restaurants. Plenty of fans to keep the air circulating in the heat of the day.The only thing that would have made our stay better was if our grandson had won his game. ##### Ramonalynn B.
