Stand-alone, did we say beachfront!, home.... no sharing! NEW DECKS. All over. Awesome. Even added a platform by the pool. Makes our sweet multilevel beachfront decks even more special! The Egret is a spacious 6 bedroom and 6 bathroom house is located directly on the beach. It is completely furnished and has a fully equipped kitchen including a TWO refrigerators, a dishwasher and microwave. TWO fabulous Great rooms with vaulted ceilings provide plenty of gathering space. Lots of deck space too, both in the sun, and sheltered/covered! Great stretch of the beach. Lots of space. Secluded. Dunes. Nice. Like having the beach to yourself, seriously! And Egret has lots of deck space, both covered and open, so you can lounge in whatever environment you want! Sun, some sun, no sun. Up to you! BEDDING: Northeast Bedroom: King Northwest Bedroom: 2 Queens ​​​​​​​East Middle Bedroom: Queen West Middle Bedroom: Twin over Full Bunk Southeast Bedroom: King Southwest Bedroom: 2 Queens North Living Room: Queen Sleeper Sofa South Living Room: Queen Sleeper Sofa What else? More of course! TWO LIVING ROOMS! There's a living room in both the north and south wing of this great stand-alone home! How's that for spreading out. Not one, but two living rooms with coaches, TVs, and dining spaces. Separated by the kitchen area. How about a little divide and conquer during the vacay! TWO REFRIGERATORS Yes, two per side. Because... you need a lot of space for shrimp and beverages! POOL? You bet! Pool is under the home. A bit like an indoor pool. Big: 24x12x3-5 FT Rectangle! Great respite from hot hot hot, as well as inclement weather! Heatable too (nightly surcharge applies). Added a propane gas pool heater, so YES the pool is heatable to a maximum of 82' (the high side of recommended rec pool temps) to take the chill off! This service is by request in advance with a nightly surcharge (varies by season and with gas market price, has been $60-85 per night, just inquire, and must be for length of stay (this is based on market pricing for propane gas, and can change at any time, both up and down, until added to a reservation). Fee subject to change due to incredibly high gas rates right now. Simply request the pool be heated any time after making the reservation and at least a week before check in so we can get it on before you arrive. PARKING There is available onsite parking for at least 8 cars. More if you park under them home and stack carefully. WIFI/INTERNET YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally solid and ran > 100Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction! SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, ETC ETC As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well. No smoking please. No pets. SNOWBIRDS! Up to 2/3rds off for off-season stays of 28 days or longer. Little bigger? It was wonderful to have a bathroom for each bedroom. The other thing that was wonderful was how close the beach is to your home. The weather was mostly great but the pool being under the house was great for the one day we had a lot of rain. We will recommend your home to anyone looking for a beach home. ##### Marguerite L. The pool underneath the house was a big plus. We beached it in the morning and after lunch we were in the pool. This kept the Grandkids out of the sun during the hottest part of the day. The 6 bedrooms were nice especially since each had its own Bathroom. Just wish they could install an under the counter ice machine. For sure we will stay there again! ##### Thomas M. We enjoyed the location of this house on the beach away from condos, and the kids appreciated the under house pool. Having 2 family rooms and 2 refrigerators was key for our large group. There were enough room and bedrooms to accommodate everything, which each one being clean, charming, and comfortable. The patio and backyard are awesome - you have enough beach space that we played volleyball and spike ball. Also you are right on the beach with an awesome view. Spacious home. We loved our stay at The Egret. Highlights- two living rooms, two fridges, and bathrooms for each bedroom. Loved being right on the beach. Heated pool was essential for kids who wanted a break from the ocean and for the double red flag days. Management was attentive to all of our questions and minor property issue (resolved within hours). We enjoyed being far enough from the hectic downtown area, but close enough for groceries. We had a delightful time with family in your lovely home. We put to good use the large communal areas, as this clan is known as a "lively bunch"! There was room enough for the musical instruments to have a corner for evening sing alongs, as well as a games area that didn't have to be removed when it was time for meals. I was very pleased with the timely responses from Tabitha with Kaiser, and her follow up on items. I hope you are pleased with the new management company. Egret was perfect for our family of 12, very clean , plenty of room so we could spread out , two living rooms were great so kids could play their video games and adults could play cards in the other one. All 6 bedrooms had their own bathrooms. The kitchen had plenty of glasses, cups and dishes , but could use some new frying pans ! Two refrigerators were great for that many people , lots of groceries.The pool under the house was great for the kids on a rainy day.
