Across from the beach& close to the heart of town! Welcome to Daydream By The Gulf in the West Beach area of Gulf Shores! You are sure to fall in love with the beautiful white sandy beaches and emerald waves just as we did from the day we arrived. The Village is a low density smoke free complex with only 15 units and is located across the two lane road from the beach. There is public beach access down across the street from us and unofficial beach access just across from Waves convenience store, making your short walk to the beach very easy and accessible! Pleasea be aware that we are located on the second level (equivalent to third level due to the building being raised on stilts) and there is no elevator. You are about 1.6 miles away from the heart of Gulf Shores including the Hangout, the Shrimp Festival, Bahama Bob's, amazing restaurants and a variety of shopping yet far enough to avoid the bigger crowds and heavier traffic. There is also a Waves convenience store, Island Ice Cream and Treats for a great way to cool off during the summer months and The Beach House Kitchen and Cocktails restaurant which has a variety of amazing food just around the corner from our unit. The Gulf Shores state park is only 3 miles away where you can rent bikes and walk the trails or if a concert is bringing you to town, the Wharf and Flora-Bama are both a short drive away. When you aren’t out exploring the Gulf Shores area, make yourselves comfortable in our owner managed two bedroom, two bathroom condo with a private balcony. The first bedroom includes a king size bed and cable tv with a private bathroom while the second bedroom features two twin size beds and cable tv. Both bathrooms are supplied with one roll of toilet paper and then you will need to bring your preference of shampoo/conditioner/soap and personal hygiene products as these are not provided. There is a stackable washer and dryer in the hallway, however, we do not provide laundry detergent. There are also boogie boards, an umbrella, beach chairs and sand toys in the hallway closet for you to enjoy during your stay but please remember to return them before you leave so that our next guests can enjoy them as well! The full kitchen is equipped with a drip coffee maker(don’t forget to pack your favorite coffee/filters), cookware, utensils, dishes and silverware along with one roll of paper towels, garbage bags and dishwasher tablets to get your stay started. You will find a 58" Roku tv set up on guest mode in the living room or just scroll through the 250 channels on rainy days. Free wifi is also available to all of our guests whether you are here for work or to simply relax and enjoy some down time. The sofa also turns in to a bed. As for outside amenities, enjoy the small pool on the property that is shared among the guests of the complex along with a public charcoal grill and picnic area. \*\*Please note that the pool is not heated and may be closed at times throughout the winter months (November through February).\*\* There are two outside showers in the front or back of the property to rinse off your feet and beach toys after spending a day in the sand. \*\*Please be aware that we are located on the second level (equivalent to third level due to the building being raised on stilts) and there is no elevator. \*\*You will also be required to display a parking pass on the front dash of the driver's side and only one car is allowed per stay. HOUSE POLICIES: \*This is a family owned condo so please be respectful of your neighbors at all times and no parties. Due to the complex's shared occupancy of 14 units, you may expect to hear external noise from sources including footsteps above, children, garbage collection, maintenance activities and other outside sounds. \*The maximum occupancy of our unit is 6 and there are no exceptions due to HOA, insurance and safety requirements. We decided to drive a block down and pay to park for east beach access and rent chairs/umbrellas for easy clean up at the end of the day and it was the best decision. Property mgr was able to give us access an hour early since we arrived in town before check in and that was very much appreciated! The condo was very clean, functional with a kitchen that was well supplied and the small details of the decor showed that the Host and Hostess really love and care for their place. The king size bed and beautiful walk in shower were a nice bonus as well. The condo was also located in a great location. It is only a short drive to most stores, activities and eating places but also far enough away that you notice the traffic isn’t as bad as it is on the main drag. It felt less congested with traffic which feels much safer as you walk along the side of the road to get to the beach, grocery store or the Beach House, the best restaurant we found in the area …. all within a couple of minutes of our place. Timothy and Rebecca were very helpful in providing details and getting things set up. We would highly recommend this condo. It was very comfortable whether we had a day of staying in and cooking for ourselves and most convenient if we just wanted to walk to the beach and see the beautiful sunset. ##### Debrah L. Conveniently located right next to a restaurant with good food (The Beach House) and a convenience store with beach access across the street. The condo was exactly as pictured with everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. Check in was very easy. Great place to stay in Gulf Shores. We truly had a great stay. The unit was as advertised. Only one complaint, the guests in the unit directly above ours seemed to never sleep or even rest and I believe they were wearing concrete shoes. Everything was just awesome!! Things were clean and the regular beds were very comfortable. We loved the area and the closeness to the beach. The restaurant a couple of doors down was fantastic! The amenities were very nice! Everything was stocked well...towels, dishes, utensils, etc. The A/C worked great! We loved how easy it was to walk to and from the ocean without having to use our vehicle. We were able to avoid sand in our vehicle and didn’t have to worry about paying for parking anywhere it was that close! The place was nice and cozy. The beds were comfortable. I loved all the extra things we were able to use/take with us to the ocean without having to buy our own things. It was nice that it wasn’t a crowded place either. Overall we loved this place. Tim and Rebecca's place was perfect for a short getaway. It's nicely decorated and conveniently located across the street from the beach and just down the block from a market and restaurant.
