Villa Luz de Luna Guaro by Ruralidays

Villa located in Guaro, in the province of Malaga, Andalucia.

This sumptuous villa perfectly reflects the Andalusian charm you would expect to find in this area of Spain. Overlooking the white town of Guaro and surrounded by smooth hills and tall mountains on the horizon, this villa will give you the holiday you have been dreaming about for ages. It has two spacious bedrooms where to hit the sack, the master one relying on a double bed and vintage furniture, in addition to radiators and air-con, while the other has two single beds, heater and fan. There also are two bathrooms with a bathtub each, for all the guests to be at ease.

However, there’s no villa without a living area worth the name. Comfortable sofas, wide windows with a view, a dining table, and rustic decoration merge in the air-con-provided dining-living room, creating an authentic atmosphere you can’t help but enjoy during your holiday. The distribution of the villa is completed by a huge kitchen provided with every facility you’ll need during your stay.

The spacious outdoor area is composed of a huge porch, where there also is an outdoor dining table; a patio with a barbeque and a small table where to enjoy a drink; and, after going down a few steps, you will find a space where the private pool is located. Have a dip while contemplating the stunning views of the hills and the town of Guaro that surround the property. Near the pool, there also is a lounge area, with sun loungers, for the relaxation to accompany you wherever you are.

The access to the house is made possible by a paved lane.

Despite some exceptional extreme weather,once again, the villa was very comfortable, The well-maintained outdoor space with its extensive views continue to impress and we were grateful for the thoughtful and helpful support of the owner. Inside, the property was clean and spacious, with plenty of hot water and good appliances. We would recommend this property.

Lovely country villa overlooking Guaro

This is a villa with lots of outside spaces including a lovely garden and a swimming pool with a view over the valley to Guaro. Very clean and tidy and everything you would need for a self catering break.

Friendly owners, clean home with all you need for a relaxing stay. Must have a car as there’s not much in the village of Guaro. coin is 10 minutes by car and has everything you need . The pool at the villa is beautiful and has breathtaking views.

Bad experience

We arrived on a cold and rainy day and med the host in town. The house was dark and cold. After the instructions about the house we tried to heated up a little bit with the two oil-heaters. By turning the water-cooker on the power shut off. When you use the kitchen appliance you have to turn of the heating system. There was also a very bad smell from the bath room. All in all it was not acceptable. The host tried her best to make everything a little bit more convenient but it didn't work. We rented for 28 days but after 5 days we moved out. We thank the host for the understanding.

Es war wieder ein fantastisches Erlebnis! Alles, was wir uns gewünscht hatten: Ruhe, Privatsphäre, Nähe zum Dorf, Wanderwege, einfacher Zugang zum Strand und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Coin. Das Bellen der Hunde hat uns etwas gestört, aber das war verschmerzbar. Der Besitzer war gut erreichbar und wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir schon für nächstes Jahr gebucht haben!

Fantastisches Haus in wunderschöner Lage mit atemberaubender Aussicht. Das Haus entspricht voll und ganz den Erwartungen, die die Fotos wecken. Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Treppe zum Pool 14 Stufen hat. Ruhige Lage, nur das entfernte Läuten von Ziegenglocken ist zu hören. Nur gelegentliches Hundegebell ist zu hören, aber nicht störend oder störend. Ein großer Garten umgibt das Haus. Klimaanlage in den beiden größten Schlafzimmern und im Wohnzimmer. Eine sehr geräumige, voll ausgestattete Küche. Der Weg ins Dorf ist zu Fuß machbar, aber für den Rückweg muss man eine ziemlich steile Straße hinaufsteigen. Ausgezeichnetes Essen in Guaro bei 20-PA-KA. Wir aßen dort zu viert, jeder mit zwei Getränken für 50 Euro. Ein Dorf weiter, Monda, bietet ausgezeichnetes Essen in der Bar La Jaula mit einer umfangreichen Tapas-Karte. In Coin, 10-15 Autominuten entfernt, gibt es mehrere große Supermärkte am Kreisverkehr an der Hauptstraße. Malaga ist etwa 45 Autominuten entfernt, Marbella etwa 20-25 Minuten. Auch Ronda und Mijas sind einen Besuch wert. Der Besitzer spricht einigermaßen Englisch, also ist das kein Problem.

Dies war unser zweiter langer Winteraufenthalt in der Villa Luz de Luna in Guaro. Die Aussicht und der Außenbereich beeindruckten uns jeden Tag aufs Neue. Fast jeden Tag konnten wir auf einer der Terrassen frühstücken, den Blick über die abwechslungsreiche Berglandschaft genießen und dem Gesang der Vögel (Samtengrasmücken, Finken) lauschen. Die Gärten sind gut gepflegt und voller interessanter Topfpflanzen. Der Innenraum war sauber, komfortabel und geräumig. Der Besitzer ist sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch dieses Mal gab es reichlich warmes Wasser, die Küche war gut ausgestattet, alle Geräte funktionierten und wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Im Winter war es für uns schön warm, mit Heizung in den Bädern und Klimaanlage im Wohnzimmer und in den Schlafzimmern. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Vereinigtes Königreich: Zunächst möchte ich Ihnen versichern, dass Sie von den Eigentümern und den Einheimischen von Guaro herzlich willkommen geheißen werden. Unser Spanisch ist geradezu schrecklich, aber wir haben uns wirklich Mühe gegeben, es zu lernen, und alle um uns herum waren bereit, uns mit guter Laune und Humor zu helfen. Da wir zu zweit reisten, ohne dass einer von uns selbst fuhr, waren wir natürlich etwas nervös, etwas auf dem Land zu buchen, da die Geschäfte am Wochenende geschlossen waren. Wir fuhren jedoch mit dem Taxi vom Flughafen nach Coin, kauften ein und trafen uns dann zu einem spontanen Termin ohne Probleme. In Guaro selbst gibt es zwei Minimärkte/Lebensmittelgeschäfte, einen Fischhändler, einen Metzger, einen Straßenmarkt am Donnerstag, eine Bäckerei und einige tolle Kaffee-/Mittagslokale sowie Bars/Restaurants bis spät in die Nacht, die alle sehr zu empfehlen sind. Monda ist ein einfacher/mittelschwerer Spaziergang, und wenn Sie bereit sind, etwas zu warten, ist ein Uber von und nach Coin für 15 bis 20 Euro pro Strecke absolut machbar. Als wir nun in der Villa ankamen, raubte uns die Schönheit der Gegend den Atem und da wir auf einem Hügel waren, hatten wir jeden Tag eine atemberaubende Aussicht. Die Villa ist sehr gut ausgestattet und die Landschaft mit Orangen-, Zitronen- und Mandelbäumen sowie Lavendel und Rosmarin war etwas ganz Besonderes die Gärten der Villa. Der Eigentümer steht Ihnen gerne zur Verfügung und kümmert sich offensichtlich um die Gäste, die hier übernachten. Die Hunde sind die gleichen wie in jeder ländlichen Stadt mit nahegelegenem Ackerland, sie sind zusammen mit den Ziegen und Hühnern das Geräusch der Landschaft und für uns diente es nur dazu, das Erlebnis zu verbessern. Ich kann dieses Hotel zu 100 % empfehlen, wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt und hoffen, dass wir wiederkommen.

Unglaublich schöne Umgebung, es hätte nicht besser sein können. Den ganzen Tag Sonne, tolle Aussicht, großzügiger und gepflegter Außenbereich – viele Topfpflanzen. Der gesamte Ort ist sehr gepflegt und komfortabel und vermittelt eine gemütliche Atmosphäre, ohne dass es überfüllt ist. Die Zimmer waren geräumig, es gab jede Menge heißes Wasser, alle Geräte funktionierten und wir haben gut geschlafen. Warm genug für uns im Winter; Es ist toll, Heizungen in den Badezimmern zu haben. Der Besitzer war sehr gastfreundlich und freundlich. Die Hunde waren für uns kein Problem. Wärmstens empfohlen.

Nettes Haus. In der Nähe gibt es eine Art Zwinger, der uns aber nicht gestört hat. Auf halber Strecke der Straße von Guaro zum Haus gibt es einen Fußballplatz, dessen Geräusche man hören kann. Von der Lage her ist es nicht das ruhigste Haus, aber das Haus und die Einrichtung sind hervorragend! Und ein toller Ausgangspunkt, um beispielsweise Ronda und Marbella zu besuchen.

Wir haben uns hier wohl gefühlt wie selten. Die unglaubliche Weite, die der Ausblick vom Grundstück in jede Richtung bietet, sowie die relative Abgeschiedenheit. Abends unterm Sternenhimmel zu sitzen und auf die Welt ringsum herab zu schauen, das hatte was magisches! Wir haben Konzerte im Ort und bei den Nachbarn mitverfolgen können, Fußball live geschaut und sehr viel Zeit im Pool verbracht. Am liebsten wären wir gleich da geblieben. Das Hundegebell haben wir mit Humor genommen, gehört in Andalusien dazu. Mit den Wespen haben wir uns arrangiert, indem wir Ihnen extra Essen serviert haben, damit wir selbst in Ruhe essen können. Die klimatisierten Schlafzimmer (2) halfen, mit der Hitze nachts zurecht zu kommen, aber es weht auch oft genug Wind, womit es erträglich wurde.

Wunderschönes Haus

Wir verbrachten eine wunderschöne Woche in Guaro. Das Haus bietet für alle Ruhesuchenden einen optimalen Ort, um sich zu erholen. Der Pool sowie die Aussicht sind traumhaft. Die ganze Anlage ist gepflegt und hat viele schattenspendende Plätze. Auch die Innenausstattung deckt alle Bedürfnisse. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen: Die Klimaanlage schafft es nicht, das Haus bei hohen Aussentemperaturen genügend abzukühlen.
