The first room I was given was renovated and looked nice, but unfortunately, it did not have a refrigerator. I requested a room change and asked to be on a lower floor. However, the second room was not renovated and was far from clean. There was an unpleasant smell in the room, the refrigerator smelled bad, and the shower showed signs of moisture and poor maintenance. Overall, the cleanliness was very disappointing, and even the corridors were quite disgusting. It really felt like housekeeping was not being done properly.
The mattresses are extremely hard. It honestly feels like sleeping directly on the floor, l have never experienced mattresses this hard. Guests should definitely be aware of this before booking, especially if they prefer a smooth comfortable bed.
Another concern is that there are no telephones in the rooms. If an emergency occurs, the only way to contact the front desk is through a messaging app. Personally, this made me feel less safe, especially as a foreign traveler. However, I must mention that the staff respond very quickly whenever you contact them on the apps.
On a positive note, the hotel is well located, which is definitely an advantage. The staff are also extremely kind and helpful. Even though they don’t speak English, they make a real effort to communicate with guests using a translation app. They are always willing to help, and their excellent attitude is certainly one of the hotel’s strongest points of this Hotels.
