The hotel is easily accessible and one metro stop from Guangzhou East Railway Station. Two metro stops (Shipai Qiao and Tianhe Sports Stadium) were within walking distance. The hotel was newly renovated and the lobby and rooms were in good condition, but mosquitoes and other insects were sometimes present, though easily dealt with by turning up the air-con. Bedding was comfortable and soft, as opposed to some other hotels in China which have ridiculously hard bedding. There were standard amenities in the room but there was no fridge and safe.
