Staff were very accommodating; room was very clean and well maintained but it smelled like cigarette smoke, and it did not go away or dissipate at all the whole time we were there. It was only after a number of times asking them to check again that they confirmed that I had paid already. Not the most welcoming start to my stay! The hotel itself is quite dated. The room was in need of modernisation, and had quite a stale smell. It didn't feel particularly clean.
