It’s a decent hotel, not a super fancy kind, without coffee/tea in the room but you can get some at hotel lobby. The breakfast spread is quite good with a live noodle bar that someone will cook fresh noodle for you. Selection from fresh salad, fresh fruits, yogurt cups, Asian dishes, bread, Chinese dessert soup, noodle soups, porridge, coffee and tea. The hotel staffs are super nice and friendly! My folks enjoyed their hospitality very much. The room was unexpectedly spacious, more like a small suite with a living area, which made the stay feel much more comfortable than typical budget hotels. The air conditioner was powerful and kept the room refreshingly cool, even during humid days. I also really appreciated the thoughtful tea set and variety of teas provided—such a nice touch for relaxing in the evening. Location-wise, the hotel is a winner. It's in a lively area full of restaurants, local shops, and just a 10-minute walk from Yuexiu Park subway station, making it easy to get around the city. The staff were friendly and accommodating, doing their best to help despite some language barriers. That said, there were a few minor inconveniences. The toilet was prone to clogging, and the shower temperature was tricky to adjust, either being too hot or too cold. I also tried using the dryer, which unfortunately took over three hours to dry a medium-sized load—definitely something to be aware of if you’re planning to do laundry. Lastly, the safe box wasn’t the most intuitive to operate and could use better instructions.
