The rooms are very nice and modern, with lots of amenities. The staff was so nice and very helpful. The location is excellent, center of Tianhe, with lots of eating options and the best and most modern malls and shopping centers just steps away. 100% recommended. Reception/ breakfast area are small and simple and looks more of a Familymart rather than a hotel reception. Very chinese style and staff dont speak english very well. It may not be the best like a 5 star but this comes in with such consideration e.g. upon your arrival and you can pick up something to snack and drink. On top of that is the free self-serve laundry/draying service. They provide 2 washing machines/ 2 dryers with detergent provided for our daily washing needs. Reception staff were wonderfu too. I do have a couple of notes: 1) To management: please instruct cleaning staff to not enter rooms when “do not disturb” sign is on. We left one of our keys in while out on the town specially so that “do not disturb” stays on and no one enters our room (there is no safe in the room). However, every day we came back to someone having been in our room when we specially indicated we don’t want anyone entering. They disregarded the “do not disturb” blatantly. 2) The toilet door is completely transparent (see attached photo). It has a slight tint but that’s all - whatever you’re doing in the toilet is in full view (and sound) of everyone in the room. There is no other door between the bathroom and the rest of the room, and even the transparent glass door doesn’t go all the way up to the ceiling.
