Although the city was about a 10 minute Uber ride.But well worth it. very quiet and lots of friendly people in hotel. The property is classic Spanish architecture, with lots of nooks and crannies to explore. There are beautiful common areas and gardens. The pool and hot tub are well maintained and a perfect place to relax. The staff is all so kind and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about this place. All of the details were great from the cool light fixtures to the neat brick work. This place is well designed and well taken care of. All of the staff we talked to were so nice. At one point we messaged them to see if they knew where the blanket in our room was from because we were hoping to buy one and they got us the number and address of the seller. There's free daily breakfast which is probably the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. The location is too far from town to easily walk so either have a car (they have parking) or be ready to taxi/Uber (it was about 100 pesos). There isn't ac but temps get pretty cool at night and there are fans, we were never hot.
