We debated about staying at Rush Creek Lodge but I'm so glad we stayed here instead. We like to cook our own meals and thought the kitchen was well stocked. We found everything we needed at the nearby grocery store. We went into the park everyday we were there and it was less than an hour to the park entrance. The property was clean and well maintained. Our only compliant was that the hot tub water wasn’t very clean when we arrived and with no way to clean it, it got worse throughout our stay. There was a per car fee that was not disclosed to us until the day before arrival But due to the late notification of this Ben was very helpful in rectifying this situation. The place was very cute in a nice quiet neighborhood. The only issue we had was the cleaners did a very poor job of basic cleaning. The floors were unswept, there were cobwebs in the corners, the air conditioner return was covered in large amounts of dust and dirt and all the rugs had copious amounts of debris. The beds we’re comfortable and the linens were clean. The bathrooms and kitchen were also clean other than floors. There clearly was dust on all the side tables and areas that were out of the main use. Despite the above issues we did enjoy our stay and would still recommend this place. We had a wonderful stay at this home with our three adult daughters! Marlo is a great host and very responsive. The house was comfortable and clean and was stocked with everything we needed. Very good location and a short drive to the lake. House was well equipped and we had 5 adults and two children and there was room for everyone and the rooms are all separated.
