Grotte Santo Stefano Holidays from £252

Samantha was exceptionally helpful and accomodating. The hotel Was very convenient, near to everything shops, and restuarants! I would definitely come back and stay with them.

The room was very clean and the staff was friendly and very helpful. I had very low expectations for the included breakfast but it was fantastic. Homemade baked goods every morning, breakfast sandwiches, scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit, different types of breads, cereal. We were always offered a cappuccino. It was great. It's a bit of a walk from the city center but it's very doable and the public transit system is great. I will stay here again the next time I'm in Rome.

The breakfast was satisfying - and I enjoyed communicating with the lovely young women, who worked this early shift. When my room was made up - I was in love with the fresh towels each day. The Hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the Vatican and the neighborhood of Prati is very peaceful and serene at night. The lighting inside my room was not great - it was too dark and felt depressing at night. The mattress is worn and should probably be replaced. I really liked communicating with the Front Desk Staff - Stephania was very kind. For the cost to stay at this Hotel, I expected more.

We had a great time the hotel staff very attentive and nice very professional especially Alejandro thank you we will see you soon

First, this is no a traditional hotel. It’s two floors of a dirty old apartment building. You enter via door code next to several trash cans and walk up two flights of stairs to an elevator to the third floor reception, which is only open 8am-3pm. Staff was helpful providing after hours access via WhatsApp chat. The room was fortunately cleaner and brighter than the stairway and corridor, which stank of cigarette smoke, with modern finishes. However, the air conditioning did not work and since there’s no on-site staff, it was not addressed until the following day. Additionally, the best was among the oldest, least comfortable my wife or I have ever tried to sleep on. Lots of corridor noise throughout the night. We ended up departing after only one night into our three night stay so we could better sleep.
