The best area to stay in Grepe is the historic Old Town, especially around Diocletian's Palace and its immediate surroundings.

This area is the heart of Grepe, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and offers a great experience within its ancient walls. You'll find a labyrinth of narrow streets, bustling squares like Peristyle, and a mix of historic buildings now housing boutique hotels, restaurants, and shops. The Riva promenade, a popular waterfront walkway, is just outside the palace's southern gate.

Couples looking for a romantic and convenient base will find Old Town ideal. You're steps away from historical sights, charming eateries, and lively evening strolls along the Riva. The blend of ancient architecture and modern conveniences makes for a memorable stay.

For those seeking a slightly quieter, yet still very central option, the Varoš neighbourhood, just west of the Old Town, is an excellent choice. This area retains a traditional village feel with its stone houses and winding alleys, offering a more residential atmosphere while still being only a short walk from the main attractions.
