New for 2025: We replaced all carpet with brand new laminate flooring, put a fresh coat of paint in all rooms, installed a private-for-you-to-use swim platform into the lake and reconfigured our private dock so it can accommodate 2 boats. House Rules: Primary Tenant Age: The primary tenant making the reservation must be at least 30 years old and must be physically present at the property during the stay. A valid government-issued photo ID is required at check-in. Entry will be denied, and refunds will not be granted for parties not meeting this requirement. Occupancy Limit: The house comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. We can allow parties of up to 8 guests for an additional fee of $100 per person per night. Quiet Hours: Please observe quiet hours from 11 pm to 6 am, ensuring a peaceful environment for all guests. Linens and Towels: Linens and towels are thoughtfully provided for your convenience. Check-In: Check-in time is at 4 P.M.; Check-out time is at 11 A.M. Non-Smoking Policy: Our property is strictly non-smoking. A $300 fee will be charged for any evidence of smoking, including odors, ashes, burns, or cigarette remnants. Pet Policy: Pets are not allowed within the rental units under any circumstances. Tenants and their visitors are prohibited from bringing pets onto the property. We enjoyed our time here. House was clean and was exactly as described in the listing. We used the boat dock for our boat over the weekend. The one thing that I wish we would have known is just how heavily trafficked this part of the lake is. The many boats go very fast and causing giant wakes last the docks which made it a little unsafe for our young kids at a few times. Spent a week at this house with my two daughters and their two friends. We were quite comfortable in this house. It was very clean. The AC all worked very well when it was needed, the kitchen appliances (fridge with water and ice dispensers, dishwasher, stove) are all on the newer side and all worked well, one of the bathrooms was updated nicely. I had four teen girls with me and I'm happy to say that we never ran out of hot water! Rented a pontoon for the week and having the dock available on the property was fantastic. The property is located on the "upper" lake which is actually very close to the southern most area of the lake. So its a solid 25 minute drive north into Hawley and the dam but there is a food market and some restaurants close by if you don't want to make that trek. Fire pit in the backyard got some use. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The location was breathtaking, with stunning views of the lake and easy access to the water. Rental boat allowed us to explore the lake effortlessly, thanks to the private dock. We spent countless hours exploring the expansive Lake Wallenpaupack, indulging in thrilling water sports, and discovering hidden coves. Swimming in the crystal-clear waters of private dock, where boats are restricted by “no wake” buoy, made it convenient and safe. Speaking of the house, it was very clean, spacious and well-appointed, offering a perfect retreat after our adventures on the water. The brand-new bathrooms were delightful, adding a touch of luxury to our stay. The house was impeccably clean, and the attention to detail in the decorations created a warm and inviting ambiance. One of our favorite features was the waterfront deck, where we could relax, bask in the sun, and relish in the stunning lake views. It became our go-to spot for morning coffee, evening meals, and simply unwinding in the tranquil surroundings. Another highlight was the campfire site situated close to the water's edge. Gathered around the crackling fire, we shared stories, roasted marshmallows, and enjoyed the peacefulness of the lake at night.
