This is the perfect hotel for us. We had a room in the mansion and love old properties like this. Pool was also very nice.

Heaven gem
Such a lovely peaceful accommodation offer - facing the Sea - in Lesvos. Close to Mytilini with direct access with bus stop, easy parking and good Wi-Fi signal almost everywhere! Excellent comprehensive and smiling staff rendering your stay even better! I would like to congratulate the gardener for keeping the place as an unexpected gem... The old mansion is really attractive and other (new) parts are well integrated in the compound. Qualitative stay and excellent bedding! Big rooms especially suites equipped with kitchenettes. I strongly recommend to benefit from the swimming facilities (pool & Sea) and other calm ambiance. Kind of Covid breakdown compensation pour the people staying there..

I hated it from the moment I walled in unfortunately. Villa had a stale smell in it. Bugs walking all over the place in the bathroom downstairs. Bathroom upstairs was too small to use esp when I didnt want my body to touch anything. It was also very cold even with both heat sources on. No microwave or coffee machine like the pics show but i wouldnt have used them anyway. Never again.

Supposedly quality hotel but very disappointing.
We were not given the terrace apartment in the modern extension which we had booked and paid for, instead we got an attic room under the roof of the old house, with only skylight windows and only accessible by a steep, uneven, spiral staircase, 47 stairs in total and no handrail. It was a nightmare getting our luggage up there with no help. The shower was under the roof slope and too low to stand up straight in. The management's excuse why we did not get the room we had booked, was that the person in that room wanted to extend their stay. Curiously, the couple in the adjacent attic room were also told their room in the modern extension was not available because the occupant wanted to stay longer. Wifi did not work in our room and continually dropped out even in the breakfast room. We needed parking but had to park across the main road on the gravel verge as management/staff vehicles and boat were always occupying at least three of the seven spaces. The breakfast was the worst we had in Greece with the hot food being cold, wrinkled apples and luke-warm coffee.

We stayed in the outside buildings which apparently according to review, was much better than the original mansion itself. The grounds are breathtaking beautiful and 30 feet from the sea. But it is definitely dated. Checking out was confusing as we could not find anyone and we had not given them our cc info so we just had to leave our keys on the desk with the stickey note. We were there for one night and it sufficed. We walked to the nearby restaurant which was mediocre food but considering we were on our last night of a very intense work trip where we had eaten great Greek food already, we were just grateful for the view and food.

Hotel staff very nice a friendly. When arrived at the room everything was ok till I looked in the bathroom. The bath was full of dead ants. When stated to the receptionist that there were dead ants in the bath she apologised and stated that someone will be at my room to have a look immediately. I waited in my room for 30 minutes and no one had come to my room. I had to go back to the receptionist and stat that I had been waiting in my room and no one had come she said that the member of staff was busy but she would come to the room now. Where she just washed the ants away. When asked to speak to the manager he was not around.

Welcoming, friendly, beautiful
The staff could not have been more welcoming, helpful and friendly. The cakes in the lobby were divine, and the willingness to make tea and coffee at any time was very much appreciated. The views straight onto the sea were amazing, and the hotel itself beautiful. I didn't use the pool because it was too cold but it looked lovely. I'm already looking forward to coming again...

Location is Great
Location was great. Just across the street from the beach, close to the airport and Mytilini. Both just a couple miles away. Staff was wonderful and very helpful in every way. Breakfast was great with a lot of variety. Only negative comment I have was our room. While the main house is beautiful and old and historic, the room in the main building was not so good. Bugs all night coming out of nowhere. Windows were covered on the inside with moths and other creatures. Bed was saggy and uncomfortable. I'm glad we only stayed one night. I would go back there again, but would ask for a room in the buildings behind the main house. They seemed more updated and clean.

2 nights stay, business travel. Impressive and very particular old building, very relaxing breakfast area under the trees near the swimming pool. Hotel is about 5kms of city center, you need a transport. Maybe family rooms are very nice, the room at the attic I stayed was not good, everything was very small at the bathroom, fan coil A/C very noisy and ineffective.

Lovely and comfortable place
It was very good place to near center it is about 1 hour by walk from the port. Staff was very helpful. The breakfast was open buffet and enough. Room has ac and was at 3rd floor and also doesnt have an elevator. And dont forget to get something about mosqutoes because they were everywhere bu this is not hotel's fault of course. Building was historical. Pool is full of sea water which is very good. I recommend it.

Ein sehr nostallgisches Hotel mit Wohlfühlambiente und freundlichem Personal. Das Frühstück ist vielfältig ind die Anlage sehr gepfegt. Lediglich die Ausstattung des Zimmer ist ausbaufähig.

The rooms were full of ants and spider nets. The rooms are completely different from the photos on the website.

We are very sorry to hear about your bad experience. I can assure you the room your booked and saw in the pictures is exactly the room type you booked. Concerning spider nets and ants unfortuantely because the hotel is located in a foresty area with plants and trees everywhere and even thow we clean and spray the whole place sometimes one ant can appear in your room, I believe we took care of it immidiatly. We hope on your next visit you we can be more accomodating to you

Una settimana di lavoro a Mitilene
L'albergo, sulla strada tra Mitilene e l'aeroporto, è molto carino, tranquillo e comodo per chi ha la macchina e vuole trovare facilmente un parcheggio. Le stanze sono buone, la prima colazione eccellente, il personale davvero molto gentile.

Je n'ai pas pu descendre au Loriet, car le personnel sympathique mais incompétent avait déjà attribué ma chambre a un autre client. L'hôtel est pour l'instant la base de nombreux touristes humanitaires et une gentille pagaille règne. La réceptionniste m'avait trouvé une autre chambre dans une pension de famille proche, propre mais sans charme. Je ne passerai plus par votre site pour réserver un hôtel.

Very helpful staff, nice hotel
Our stay at loriet was really nice. Staff was extremely helpful and polite. Hotel is close to the center (to Mytillini). Our room was big enough for 3 and comfy. The pool is filled with sea water and nice under the big tree. Hotel is close to the sea however it doesn't have a beach area even if it does sea is so wavy with the wind.
