Beautiful and Relaxing❣️
We loved this property! David, Christina's husband met us and gave us some wonderful tips on restaurants and places to visit. We really enjoyed our tasty treats that were left for us. He also helped with organizing a car for rental and getting my bag to Naxos after I left it in the car. A true lifesaver. Wonderful experience all around, would love to return some day❣️ ~Teresa

Dave met us upon our arrival. Very helpful with suggestions for things to do and showed us around the house. House has beautiful views and really enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. Dave even had complimentary food/coffee which we enjoyed. Would highly recommend this property. Driveway is fairly steep, but you do get used to it. We had 6 adults and there was plenty of room for us all.

Our first time in Santorini and the Admiral’s House was the perfect location for us! The views are absolutely spectacular from two decks. The hot tub was a nice retreat at the end of a long day of walking. The house was clean and beautiful. We loved the location of Akrotiri - it was nice to stay in a more low key location and then venture into the more larger and more crowded towns during the day. Communication with the owners was great the whole way through, and having Dave to welcome us and give us a lay of the land was so helpful at the beginning and throughout our stay.

Spectacular Views
We had a great experience at the The Admiral’s House! Family of 5 had plenty of room, very clean, and hot tub and deck was amazing! Christina was very responsive, and Dave met us at check-in and was very welcoming and gave us a great tour of the place and offered many great recommendations for for food and entertainment. Highly recommend!

Incredible view, great house and hosts
Loved everything about this place (other than the steep driveway, which you get used to)! David and Christina are great hosts; they are very helpful and responsive. David provides quite a bit of food and supplies when you arrive and has recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. We definitely recommend taking a sunset catamaran cruise with Sunset Oia and hiking the 6-7 miles between Fira and Oia. The villa is well-appointed and comfortable (though the mattresses and pillows could use an update), but, of course, the views from both the lower balcony and rooftop veranda are the real showstoppers. You can see the entire caldera with the islands, cruise ships coming in and out, and the towns of Oia and Imerviglio in the distance. The nearby town of Akrotiri is quaint. We had a great breakfast at Akrothiri and a nice dinner at Misteli. There is also a good taverna called Remezzo right on the water below the villa (it’s a bit pricey but the food and view are great). If you want all of the same breathtaking scenery without the crowds and congestion of Fira and Oia, this part of the island is for you! Everything you want to see is less than 20-30 minutes from the villa (the best beaches are only 5-10 minutes). We highly recommend Admiral’s House and will hopefully be back again someday!

The property managers were very communicative through the whole process. They gave us a great tour of the property and let us know all about Santorini during the stay so we knew the best food places and fun activities around town. The place was amazing, and the best part by far was the incredible view that came with it. Unbeatable!

This property was wonderful! Dave was so helpful. He met us for check-in late in the evening with a kitchen stocked full of food for us to enjoy. He gave us many great recommendations for places to see around the island. The house was in a great location. There is an amazing view with multiple balconies and there was also a garage for us to park our rental car. We had plenty of space for our family of six. We highly recommend this property.

Gorgeous views of the Caldera especially from the rooftop. Great restaurants and beaches close by. Hosts were attentive and very accommodating. We had neglected to bring a 110 converter and the hosts went out of their way to provide. The only negative is the entrance could be better identified.

Wonderful hosts!
We were very happy with our stay at the Admiral’s house! Our hosts went above and beyond by meeting us at midnight to give us a tour of the property, review a map of the island, and provide some snacks and coffee. It was nice being away from the touristy parts of Santorini while still getting beautiful views of the caldera from the two balconies. Our hosts also gave beach and restaurant recommendations which were all excellent! Would definitely recommend staying here!

Great escape!
Stayed here for three nights. It was a great escape after the hustle of Athens. Took time to relax and enjoy the day. You will definitely want to have a car of staying here as it is a little out of the way. For us, it was perfect as we were looking for some piece and quite. Great views, spacious rooms, and an excellent host!

Best part of Santorini was the Admiral's House
We loved our stay at Dave and Christina's beautiful rental home! The place was so bright, airy and comfortable; it felt luxurious. The view from the top terrace was stunning both during the day and at night when the island is lit up. We loved hanging out in the hot tub and connecting as a family. Dave and Christina were so kind- they were prompt to reply to our questions online and helped us make arrangements for a rental car. Dave met us at check in and showed us around and stocked the kitchen with much appreciated essentials like milk, bread, cereal, OJ and coffee. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen clean and the memories will last a lifetime. Would highly recommend their home to anyone!

A taste of paradise
If I could give more than 5 stars for the Admiral’s House, I would. And not just six. 8, 9, even 10 — it’s that wonderful. Dave and Christina are incredibly gracious hosts, with a stash of groceries waiting for us, responding to all questions, even bringing us lattes on our last morning there! The house itself is immaculate, well-equipped, and with a million-dollar view. Best of all, it’s located away from the tourist hordes of Fira and Oia, in a lovely and historic town of Akrotiri, which is welcoming and has all you need. So very hard to leave!

Great view and welcoming host.
We just spent 5 nights at this fun location. The house is located next to other different accommodations , but we felt that we had all the privacy we needed. We were a family of 6 with my wife and I , our son and his wife and 2 grandchildren ( age 5 and 7). Two bedrooms are downstairs and a third is upstairs. The home is not modern but is well furnished and was the home of a relative who was an admiral with all the appropriate decor. The beds were comfortable and they had Netflix. We loved the hot tub which the owner heated so that it was like a heated pool. We could have had it hotter but wanted the grandchildren to have use without worrying about too much heat. It could easily have held 5 adults. Dave was a great host with tips about where to eat and maps of local attractions. He knew a lot about the area which was quite interesting. We took the granddaughters horseback riding at a ranch very close. They got a 90 minute walk with an attendant for each girl , concluding in a walk on a nearby secluded beach. We watched the sunset at the nearby lighthouse and enjoyed the red beach. We drove to Fira and Oia for shopping and good food. The only downside was the entry to the unit required a very steep drive up and down. Not that unusual on the islands. The owners did have a two car garage for our vehicles which was very helpful. You also need to be aware that the bathrooms were small by American standards but consistent with most greek accommodations which we have experienced. Akrotiri is the nearest town and it has several good restaurants , a very nice gift shop around the corner from the mini market and one of the most interesting Archaeological sites in Greece ( a buried town similar to Pompeii , Italy. ) The restaurants we enjoyed were Theofanis (Greek food-very nice) , Portobello(less formal Greek) and a restaurant directly across from the mini market with decadent breakfast waffles. WARNING: Santorini is attracting waves of tourists. We found Oia to be stuffed with tourists on a day when there were no cruise ships. We still loved it. On the day we left there were 5 large cruise ships in port. This location gave us the privacy we needed. Thanks Dave.

Perfect Spot on Santorini
We traveled with another couple to Santorini and loved this Akrotiri apartment, where there was plenty of space for us to spread out. The view was beautiful, and we so appreciated starting and ending our days away from the crowds in Oia and Thera. The host was attentive and helpful, even stopping by for an hour one evening just to visit. I would definitely recommend this spot for a Santorini vacation!

Wonderful property with spectacular views
We can’t say enough good things about our stay at the Admirals house in Akrotiri. The views were amazing. The top deck is luxurious with a great hot tub to enjoy in the mornings and evenings. Dave and Christina were wonderful hosts, very responsive and helpful. The location of the property in Akrotiri is also very nice. Not as crowded as Fira or Oia but they are both a short drive away. Stay here if you can.

Santorini stay
The owners helped us with renting a car, met us at our absurd landing time of midnight and even stocked the kitchen with some basic foods that saved us. They were wonderful hosts. Property is clean and Wi-Fi worked beautifully. The view is amazing. I watched multiple sunrises and sunsets. The hot tub on the patio the whole family enjoyed. Perfect stay!

Nice house with amazing views
We were a party of seven with two children. The property was clean and beautiful with amazing views. We also had access to a two car garage. We were a 15 min. drive from most major points. David and Christina were great they were very attentive and communicated with us whenever we needed anything. I would strongly recommended this property for any group traveling to Santorini.

Sunny skies and a fair breeze
The Admiral's House deserves its name! It is lovely decorated with maritime elements and you have two perfect lookouts on all the ships entering the Caldera. One is sheltered and one on the rooftop with the jacuzzi. Even a pair of binoculars was provided. The whole place is carefully maintained and if you are a ship's cook you will find everything to prepare great meals for your crew. If you are fond of history, the excavations of Akrotiri are only an easy few minutes drive away. So are the village of Megalochori and the lighthouse - your navigator will be happy, too! But what about a house without talking about the hosts? It was an extraordinary pleasure to meet Christina and Dave! Great guys who are doing a great work. They know their island perfectly and shared their knowledge willlingly. So we had a great time. All the best wishes to our hosts!

Perfect time in a perfect spot
We had a great time in a beautiful house, in a beautiful place with a fantastic view. Christina and David were very nice, uncomplicated and helpful. A place and people to feel good and come back.
