#### A nature park, rich architectural and cultural heritage, and first-class cuisine make a holiday in Grazalema the perfect plan.

Grazalema is a town located in the province of Cádiz, in Andalusia. Its great attraction for nature lovers is the Sierra de Grazalema Nature Park, spanning over 205 square miles. It offers breathtaking views, and you can soak up unbeatable natural surroundings. In addition, it’s home to numerous different species, such as the griffon vulture, one of the few that can be found in Europe.

With our cheap trips, you’ll be spoilt for churches to visit, so what are you waiting for? You can start at the church of Nuestra Señora de la Aurora, the town’s most representative temple. It was built on a Moorish palace, which gives it its octagonal floor plan, and was rebuilt in the 18th century. Its façade is simple but with a classical style.

The Church of San José, on the other hand, is a religious church dating from the 17th century, and is reminiscent of more Arab structures. It has a Latin cross floor plan and a rich artistic heritage, as it preserved works by a disciple of Murillo. In its day, it was a Carmelite convent.

Finally, the Church of San Juan dates from the 18th century and was built on the site of an old mosque. It has a square floor plan and the most interesting architectural element is its tower. It is now the headquarters of a young people’s cultural centre.

Once you’ve worked up an appetite after all that walking, make the most of our package deals to Grazalema and savour the local cuisine at any of the charming bars or restaurants. Locals recommend sopa de Grazalema, a soup dish with broth, bread, eggs, chorizo and mint leaves. You can also try *tagarninas revueltas*, Spanish oyster thistle scramble, and, for dessert, try *amarguillos*, a dry marzipan sweet made with bitter almonds.
