"We loved the real log cabin experience. The bedrooms were nice and plenty of beds to choose from. I missed the detail that there is no AC! Didn't know it until we arrived, but at night we were ok with fans, just a bit warmer than we would choose to be. When you're at the cabin, there is no cell service or WiFi. The creek makes a beautiful sound, and with all the windows open, you can hear it easily. The cabin has a distinct barn wood smell which took me back to my childhood, playing in my parents' barns. The well water does have the sulfur smell, which isn't too bad for me, but my son & husband had a hard time with it. Also very little water pressure, a common well water issue. Large selection of DVDs, books, and games.I appreciated the antique decor, and reading the history of the cabin in the guest book. Overall nice stay."

"The property was even better than we expected when we got there. It was a perfect spot to retreat. My two boys enjoyed taking the kayaks out and exploring the lake. It was a beautiful setting. Just far enough away from town for peace and quiet but not too far for groceries and supplies."

"We loved our stay in the cabin! It was very cozy and well-equipped, and the hot tub was a great bonus! I will say that this cabin does not truly sleep 6. There are two actual beds, but the pull out couch was definitely not adequate. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to stay! We will be back!"
