Lake Kahshe

This is a wonderful location and lovely property. The waterfront location, water slide and water sports equipment made for an absolutely brilliant holiday. The cottage is spacious, comfortable and generally well equipped, and worked well for our large family group. There are some nice kitchen appliances, although some staples such as glasses, towels, tea towels etc were a little sparse. But we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would definitely come back again

Location was perfect for us - only 1 hour from home. Size was perfect with little kids ( 4 kids ages 4 and under) kids sleep / nap on 1 side of cottage - adults sit either outside at the far side of cottage. Shoreline was great for the little ones - can walk in and play in the water with some / little help. Nice and quiet lake and beautiful views & sunsets. Kitchen has lots of supplies & almost every kitchen appliance and 2 frigs & chest freezer- 2 frigs was great for any overflow of food or as beverage frig. Might want to upgrade your coffee machine though had to put something heavy on the top so that the machine would drip. It was very clean when I arrived - but there a couple of things that need attention doors going onto the back deck -they don’t close properly - if you do get them closed they crack and creek when opening/ shutting - should note that your wifi is with another supplier ( not bell). Overall, it is a great location ( not far from Hwy 11 or Gravenhurst if you need to slip to pick up forgotten items). It on a nice quiet lake, beautiful views of the lake & sunsets. Amenities are great - my adults kids and there little ones enjoyed the slide. Planning / talking about on booking it again for a week next summer.

It is a beautiful property for water activities for young and old, and the outside seating area on the deck is perfect for the evenings. The cottage needs some TLC. It is dated, there are some needed kitchen items missing, and really not enough dishes etc. for the 15 people that it says it sleeps. We had a great time there, and hope that some improvements can be made, so that we can maybe return next summer.

The amenities were not in good shape. Probably built in 1980's and little updating done. The first left railing on the ancient bridge broke when I grabbed it. I am a senior and could have fallen. I think the owners should do considerable updating.
