Very clean and very well-equipped house. The sauna is definitely a plus. Communication with the owner was very easy and check-in/check-out procedures were hassle-free. The property land is very large with multiple accesses to the lake, small coves and beaches with good privacy. It is very easy to swim or launch a canoe. For the fishing community: the lake gets quickly deep and we caught all fish within 5 m from the shore, mostly pikes from 50 to 90 cm and a few large perch. Not many locals fishing in August so probably better to come earlier in the season if fishing is your key interest. Excellent experience overall.

When you go in the summer to this accomodation then you have less sleep, because the bedroomwindow curtains are to lite. So it will be to much light in the room while you want to sleep!

Ich hatte eine sehr schöne Zeit in Christianes Haus. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und dennoch verkehrsgünstig zum nächsten Ort direkt am Hang zu einem See. Das Haus bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten, die man für einen Urlaub benötigt. Auch im Winter. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder.

Kurz gesagt: PERFEKT. Das Haus war mega schön: sehr geräumig, super gemütlich, extrem sauber und dank der Sauna auch bei schlechtem Wetter ein idealer Aufenthaltsort. Die Kirsche auf der Torte ist dann noch der unverbaute Blick auf den See. Diesen kann man dann morgens auf der überdachten Terasse genießen. Es hat uns einfach super gefallen und konnten uns sehr gut erholen und entschleunigen. Vielen Dank an Frau Peters für die freundliche Aufnahme und den super netten Kontakt. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Haus ist funktional und gut ausgestattet. Uns haben besonders die überdachte Veranda und die Sauna gefallen, die wir gerne an verregneten Tagen genutzt haben. Der Blick auf den See ist sehr schön. Ein Stern Abzug haben wir gegeben, weil uns ein Verdunklungsrollo im Schlafzimmer gefehlt har. Das Zimmer geht nach Osten raus und wenn es im Hochsommer ab ca. 2:30 Uhr hell wird und ab etwa 4 Uhr die Sonne direkt reinscheint, wird das Schlafen schwierig. Wir sind dann tatsächlich in das Etagenbett-Zimmer umgezogen, weil wir so schlecht geschlafen haben. Das war schade.Der See ist sehr schön und wir waren täglich im und auf dem Wasser. Das Grundstück und den Wasserzugang teilt man sich allerdings mit 2 weiteren Ferienhäusern, die in Sicht- und Hörweite relativ dicht beieinander stehen. Der zu diesem Ferienhaus gehörende Wasserzugang erfolgt über eine kleine etwa 5 Meter große Bucht oder einen Steg. Der etwa 20-30 lange Strand ist eher einem der anderen Häuser zugeordnet und ist nur über einen längeren Trampelpfad zu erreichen. Ein Spaziergang am See entlang war leider nicht möglich, weil es alles Privatgrundstücke sind.Insgesamt haben wir unseren Aufenthalt am Rottnansee genossen und uns gut erholt. Der Kontakt zu der Vermieterin war unkompliziert.

Ferienoase am Rottnansee

Wunderschön gelegenes Haus mit allem Komfort...großes Wohnzimmer mit direktem Blick zum See, überdachte Veranda, Sauna, 2 Badezimmer, voll ausgestattete Küche, eigener kleiner Badestrand. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt uns vor allem die herrliche Ruhe genossen. In der Gegend kann man viel unternehmen...wandern...Radfahren...mit dem Kanu die vielen idyllischen Seen erkunden oder einfach die Seele baumeln lassen. Die Schweden sind sehr freundliche und entspannte Menschen...ein zusätzlicher Pluspunkt in unserem Urlaub.

Atemberaubende Lage am Rottnen

Das Ferienhaus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, bietet aber allen Komfort. Frau Peters (Vermieterin) steht bei Problemen und Fragen immer sehr schnell zur Verfügung. Wir haben unsere Zeit im schönen Värmland wieder sehr genossen.

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem schönen perfekten Ferienhaus , war einfach super. Es war alles da , was das Herz begehrt . Abgerundet von einem schönen Kamin , dazu die tolle Aussicht auf den See , wir haben uns gut erholt , wozu auch die abendlichen Saunagänge gehört haben . Immer wieder gerne. Saunagängen.

Schön, aber...

Wer lärmempfindlich ist, sollte aufpassen. Die Straße am gegenüberliegenden Seeufer ist nicht sehr laut, doch deutlich vernehmbar. Das Haus selbst braucht eine Überarbeitung an manchen Stellen. Geschirr teilweise angeschlagen, nur wenig Gläser, Bodenbelag strapaziert, Mobiliar z.T. angestoßen. Bessere Verdunklung in den Schlafräumen wäre gut (wir waren im Juni da). Positiv: sehr freundliche und hiflsbereite Vermieterin! gigantischer Ausblick auf den See, Kajak vorhanden, Fahrräder.

Natur pur !

Wir haben das Überangebot an Natur genossen . Das einzige was zu bemängeln war, war das Wetter . Für Kunden in unserem Alter 75 Jahre war es beschwerlich Holz aus dem Schuppen zu holen ! Habe mir die Knie aufgeschürft . Eben doch altersbedingt zu unbeweglich ! Sonst alles prima !
