Super clean spot. Lovely nod to Route 66 era with current amenities. Comfy beds, unfortunately we were assigned a room with a shower however tubs are available. Ac worked well. Staff was helpful and parking was easy

Looking at the hotel from the road, I considered driving by. The pool was empty and in disrepair, buildings need painting, dilapidated sign, empty parking lot with one car. I prepaid the night so went to the office, but it was locked. It was after check out time and too early to check in. I rang the Ring doorbell and camera and a voice welcomed me immediately. The manager had to step out and said he would be back shortly. About the same time the only car there was heading out. They said that David the manager is a great guy and very helpful. They also said their room was very nice and the bathroom was a pleasant surprise. I left to get a snack and David was there when I returned. He was very apologetic and helpful. The room was clean, bed comfortable, and room was precooled unlike many "budget" motels. There were no amenities other than an ice machine, which worked well on a warm July day. The room was fine, had a fridge and microwave, and decent shower. It was quiet and did fill up. I felt safe and slept well. Most solo overnighters was a clean room with a decent bed. I had both for a very low price. Don't let the "scary" exterior scare you. Grants is a nice little town with some decent restaurants (and two local breweries).

Vintage Route 66 motel with a weathered look on the outside but the room was clean and updated, including microwave, wall-mounted flat screen TV, and a charging station for various devices on the nightstand. A touch I loved was that the room was stocked with letterhead, which I used to write three letters to friends.

The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Bathroom plenty big enough and well maintained. Only drawback was the swimming pool no longer exists. The location was perfect for driving cross country with animals.

Clean room and good ac. Mini fridge and microwave and TV worked. Felt safe and comfortable. Pool, no water, but I don't usually swim in public anyway. Train goes by, that's cool. Liked the classic Route 66 feel. Price is fair too. Would stay again.

Quite surprised of how clean the rooms were. When I first entered the parking area I thought it wss gonna be another dump. The owner/clerk told me he would refund me even though the internet said no refunds if I didn't like the condition of the room Well, I slept great. Beds were comfy, showers clean. It wad great.
