It is in a quiet setting, away from busy roads, though not too far from amenities in Grange-over-Sands. The cottage is in old sanatorium buildings which have been very well adapted, but there is no private garden - OK at a cooler time of year but we'd have missed one in the summer. Plenty to do in the area, being on the southern edge of the Lake District, but very accessible - only about 15 minutes from the M6\. We were very tired and needed to 'crash'; it was a good place to do it! ##### Heather W.
