Sit around the huge island with 7 bar stools and catchup with friends and family. Relax in the den with six recliners! The cottage is always decorated for fall, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Come relax and enjoy the peaceful cottage and it’s surroundings. Many guests say they never leave the cottage! They plan ahead with food and drink. They chat and play games or sit on the porch and watch ducks. They cook on the Blackstone and soak in the spa! Need four bedrooms and four baths? Add the guest cottage for $149 more per night. But! This is a newly built open concept house with a large living room, dining room, and kitchen all as one large area. A 5' x 5' island is a gathering place for the cook and the diners. DĂ©cor is “county cottage” with loads of antiques and antique furniture with beautiful views out all rooms. A full stocked coffee bar with a Keurig and a regular coffee pot and all the setups are provided to all of our guests. We also have pantry items and condiments for you to use during your stay. This is our second stay at the Canton Cottage - the first one being 3 years ago. The house is beautiful and you have everything at your disposal you could possibly want. The owner is so friendly, accommodating and located really close. It’s conveniently located about a 10 or 15 minute drive to first Monday trade days. Out in the country, but really close to canton - so really it’s the best of both worlds. The house was very clean, spacious and decorated with beautiful fall decorations. Fully stocked kitchen with a very nice coffee bar. The back porch is wonderful in the mornings and the sunroom is fantastic in the evenings. The host, Stephanie is fantastic and just a text away. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming out shopping at Canton trade days or just looking for a quiet getaway in the country. ##### Karen H. It was a perfect get-away to reconnect with extended family. The back porch is lovely - watching ducks, birds, trees blowing in the breeze, fishing in the pond (catch and release of course) - the fisherman in our group caught 5 fish! We very much enjoyed watching the many different birds and ducks while spending time on the back deck taking in the beautiful setting and just relaxing. The interior of the cottage did not disappoint either. We found it to be very clean, cozy, roomy and comfortable, and especially loved the sunroom. The owners have thought of everything you might need to make your stay memorable and were so nice to keep in touch with us and provide our group with helpful and useful information, not only about the cottage, but also many surrounding restaurants and venues. A group of friends and family coming from different directions converged on the Canton Cottage for a few days of shopping, eating, drinking and visiting. It was perfect! Plenty of room, everything you could possibly need to cook in that beautiful kitchen! Comfortable beds and the deck and porch are great for viewing many kinds of birds and the resident ducks. You needed a tooth pick, a high chair; it was there. The outdoor living space even though it was in tbe 100 degrees still pleasant. My mom of 80 had no problem getting around. The home owners just awesome. I would love to rent this home again! We did a full on turkey dinner and the kitchen was amazing well appointed. We loved the cat books! Even in mid summer we were drawn to the porch and deck to enjoy the views of the pond and abundant wildlife. The sunroom is wonderful too. Stephanie was immediately responsive if we had a question and prepared us ahead of time for best route to the house as well as pertinent details about its usage. The Canton Cottage was just perfect for a girls weekend away from the city. The decor is adorable and filled with treasures. There is lots of room to gather together for meals, games and socializing or find your own spot for quiet, reading time. The deck and back porch are so relaxing watching the birds and ducks and the beautiful sunset. Very convenient to Canton for shopping and restaurants. Stephanie was a great host providing all the information needed for our weekend.
