The room was quite outdated with all the lights, hair dryer and shower faucet being broken. There was rust on the bathroom ceiling... Plus side... There were no bed bugs and the front desk staff was polite.

It is a remodeled facility they have done a good job with, and seem to be maintaining it well. Staff was a little "cranky" this stay, not real helpful. Facility seems to have a lot of little rules posted around, causing you to wonder what amenities are really available to you. A lounge is posted, could not find one.

For some reason, hotels tend to be a little more expensive in Grand Junction and so I picked this one last minute on my way traveling westbound on I 70 from Vail. I should’ve stayed somewhere between Vail and Glenwood Springs because the amenities would’ve been better. It seems like this might be a good place for those with dogs as they had a couple dog parks— several tenants were staying there with pets. The layout is very strange, as if it was converted from a different concept or maybe a couple buildings came together, but in the end it was clean and the pillows were soft and the shower had hot water, so I can’t complain too much.

I will start with the good the staff was excellent . The woman who checked us in was extremely helpful and courteous . For the hotel the rooms are very old as is the hotel. Hallways and rooms have a very musty smell . Air conditioning did not work great . Two pools one of them was not working. Too hot tubs one of which was not working. Significant upgrades are needed.

I have been staying here 2 days in August for the past 5 years. It has gotten progressively worse every year. The front desk clerks were professional and the maids sweet. However, room needed so many repairs. The bathtub didn’t drain; the coffee maker wasn’t cleaned (it had water in it), so when I added water to it, it overfilled and ran onto the wood furniture; the ice bucket was dirty and had no plastic bag in it to keep my ice clean. The outside lighting had cobwebs all over it; the outside of the building needed to be pressure washed (the walls were filthy); the jacuzzi was broken; soda machine was not functioning. There was dog poop right outside my driver’s door, so I had to move my car. It was still there the next day. I stay there because it is dog friendly. Next year I’ll need to find another hotel that’s dog friendly with nice grass.

We liked that the hotel had so many fun amenities for families like the two pools, and the pool tables. The breakfast "pergola" area inside was laid out very nicely. Everything was clean and it looked like the hallways had fairly new carpet. The hotel overall needs a little updating in the rooms and hallways. Otherwise, it was a nice place to stay...especially for a family.
