This location designed for fishing enthusiasts and families alike — from the private pier and boat slips to modern amenities and comfortable living spaces. Make your stay unforgettable with sunrises over the bay, evenings on the deck, and fresh seafood straight from your own dock.

We didn't know you could drive 1.5 hours south of New Orleans, but you can to reach this beautiful state park. Grand Isle is mostly a summer community but it was sunny and warm and nearly empty for us in early March.  
The RV park was a great place to stay -- one of our favorites, right next to the beach and with nature paths nearby. We walked on the beach by day, and grilled burgers and sat by the campfire at night.  
Don't miss the Drive-Through Daiquiri place in town!

#### Great place for a big group

We had a huge group of friends come and stay at surrounding camp sites and properties and this place was a perfect meeting spot for dinner each night! Kids had a blast on the pier. Definitely recommend!

#### Grand Isle

AC cooled house perfectly, it was extremely hot and humid outside. The system was up to the challenge. Home was well laid out and accommodated 12 men no problem. Parking was no problem for all the trucks we had. I would stay here again.
