Just a five-minute walk away is El Médano’s main beach, famous for its black sand, authentic atmosphere, and spectacular sunsets, while the main square—the heart of local life, with restaurants, cafes, and shops where you can enjoy the local cuisine and the area’s characteristic relaxed atmosphere—is also just a few steps away. El Médano is internationally renowned as one of the best spots on the island for surfing, windsurfing, and kitesurfing, thanks to its consistent winds and open beaches.
