"Overall it was a pleasant stay. We had an event on Sunday in the Hawkeye Room, which was set up for our event, staff present did not seem to know about the event and we had to arrange with them to get a tub with ice for our drinks. They were helpful guiding folks to where we were. One of the rooms I reserved did not have a TV. that worked for a least a couple days and we did not have soap and shampoo in either shower, which I asked about but nothing happened. Parking was ok in the garage, but elevator was not working, which made for a lot more getting up and down stairs. Breakfast in the restaurant was good and the staff were friendly. Had hoped that the restaurant /bar would have been open as advertised."

"We have stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, and this was, without question, the best we have ever experienced.The home itself is absolutely beautiful. The owners renovated it themselves, and their craftsmanship and attention to detail are evident everywhere you look. From the original barn beams to the quality of the materials and finishes, this is not a typical rental property—it is a thoughtfully designed, beautifully appointed home. Add in the lovely views, and it is an incredibly special setting.The house was also exceptionally comfortable and well equipped. The beds were wonderful, there were more than enough towels and linens, and the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry area were stocked with everything we could possibly need. So many small details had been anticipated that we truly felt at home from the moment we arrived.What makes this property even more unusual are all the things available to enjoy beyond the house itself. We played pickleball, enjoyed the lake, and loved visiting the animals on the owners’ nearby property. Most importantly, the hosts are simply wonderful people. They stayed in close contact with us, were always readily available by text, and could not have been more approachable or accommodating. Check-in and check-out were effortless.It is rare to find a property where the home, setting, amenities and hosts are all equally exceptional. This one truly is."

"Brenda is very responsive and we felt the property was centrally located to our needs, It was very cute in decor but still quite functional. Cooking needs were anticipated with seasonings available, fresh ice in the freezer, etc. Beds were comfortable which is a huge win. Nice big yard, quite neighborhood, close to grocery stores, gas, etc. Nice home and clean."
