    The Space:

    Tucked amongst the towering trees of Government Camp, Cedar Raven will feel as if you are in your very own private treehouse with expansive front windows and a beautiful deck to soak up some fresh air on. Whether you have come to soak up some summer sunshine on the nearby trails or shred fresh powder at one of the three major ski resorts, there will be year-round activities galore. Inside, you will find wonderful art on the walls, tall ceilings that create an airy feel, plenty of games to play, and a fireplace to cozy up beside as evenings settle down. Not to mention, the full kitchen is efficient, yet has all of the appliances and utensils needed to whip up any recipe with ease. When it is time to settle in for the evening, the flatscreen TV in the living area will be more than ideal for movie nights, and those you want to hit the hay early will love the lofted sleeping areas that are divided by a shared bathroom, giving everyone their own privacy.

Great cozy comfy cabin

This place was great and couldn’t have been better for a long weekend. Beds were comfy, decent kitchen set, two good sized bathrooms, lots of seating, the list goes on.

Cozy, Clean, and Convenient

We loved staying at this cozy cabin. It was conveniently located, just a quick walk to all of the restaurants and bars. The cabin was very clean and the beds were nice and comfortable.

Perfect Location!

Loved the walkable location to restaurants. Beds were soooo comfortable! House was very clean except windowsills did have cobwebs and bugs.. .Perhaps provide some games? Will stay again!

Clean, cozy, great location, main bed 3 doubles in loft. It is a little dated, but was clean and had everything you could need (kitchen/cooking, flashlights, reading material, games, etc). Just a couple blocks from trails and dining. Not fancy, but was a great value stay over Labor Day weekend. Feels like old govy but nicer than many of the older cabins. Would recommend, and may return during the snow season.

Lovely

This cabin is fantastic. Very cute and in a great location. It is a cabin so there are some quirks (you have to hold the handles down for a bit to flush), but it is all reasonable. I would stay here again.

Perfect for ski camp

Our family came up for a timberline ski camp for our kids. The location was perfect and we were able to walk the stores and restaurants and were only 10 minutes away from the lift for ski camp. Will come again!

Great Location

Within walking distance to the bus stop to the ski lodge. Also restaurants and grocery store. Property was as stated clean and comfortable. The mattresses could use an upgrade. We enjoyed our stay!

Darling Cabin Close to Town

The photos didn’t do this place justice. It’s rustic and darling with a great lofted sleeping area. It’s well stocked! It’s an easy walk into govey. Love it - we will be back!

A Wonderful Birthday Getaway

The cabin is so sweet and cozy but also accommodates a large amount of people. The kitchen has everything you need, they even pre-fill the ice trays! The recessed living room with fireplace is picturesque and the high ceilings with big windows allow you to enjoy the beautiful view outside while enjoying a warm fire inside. Overall an incredibly enjoyable stay and if I come back it will be to this cabin.

Charming cabin

The epitome of a Christmas cabin. Quaint and quirky with all its different landing levels and window shapes. Just enough rustic charm with all modern amenities a bigger family hopes for. Great proximity to Skibowl and tubing and ton of pubs and cafes, enough wooded privacy to feel like your secluded in the woods. We hope to return again! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Government camp stay

We had a great stay at Cedar Raven. The location of the cabin is excellent, with easy walking access to town, hiking and to Timberline lodge. The cabin is as pictured. Very rustic, and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. The only improvement I would recommend would be an investment in some new mattresses and pillows. Having a more comfortable bed to sleep in at the end of a long day of hiking would be seriously appreciated.

Beds were comfortable. Location is perfect, ideal for all the activities 10 min drive to Timberline Lodge which was convenient but there were a few things that need to be fixed. Plumbing system in the bottom shower was horrible water stayed in the tub up to your ankles while you shower, water wouldn't drain right away. Couches need to be vacuum better we found pet hairs all over. Also, we can suggest to add a shower head to the bathroom upstairs no one in our group felt comfortable taking a bath and one last thing dryer was not working properly.

This is quirky fun cabin with a full kitchen, everything you need for a comfortable stay. The fireplace was incredible, we had a fire all weekend long. Would love to come back again next year.

Positives were the cabin is well stocked, plenty of kitchen pans, plates etc. lots of towels and sleeping areas. Tv was easy to operate and we enjoyed the video collection and kids coloring books and supplies! Located right next to town for easy walking and meal options. The negatives are The cabin was very dusty, tired and worn rugs, throw pillows. Lots of dog hair on furniture and we saw a mouse in bathroom and there was mouse droppings under the sink. Shower to bath latch was missing so we only had the bath option.

Great house in Government Camp!

We love this house and have stayed here many times. It is perfect for us to stay with our kids when they go to ski camp up at Timberline. We will be back!
